I just bought AC5. I've never played the series.

Am I late.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Hehe... I played it at a friend's house when I was little. But never beat it

I did beat Super Mario World countless of times, though.

In any case, I'm really looking forward to playing AC5. Though judging from the vibe I'm getting from this thread, AC04 is a better game?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Thanks you two.

I'll keep y'all posted as I progress through it.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Alright, so I went out yesterday and bought AC04. I'm a couple of missions in.

Pretty dope so far.

I also like the narration and animation stills. Very nice stuff.

Can someone tell me why I would ever want to land manually when I return to base to re-arm. Is it just for fun, or will this skill be important later on?

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

I'm playing on Normal.

I know the point is to re-arm the plane. But the game gives you the option to press "Start" and skip the landing sequence. I was just wondering about that.

Right now, I am on Operation Bunker Shot.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Thanks Megalith and seanne.

I've been skipping the landing sequences, after doing them for the first couple of times. Now whenever I return to base to re-arm, I'm just amped to get back out there.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

seanne is saying it isn't possible to fail a mission despite crashing a landing.

Because there is nothing riding on these landings at all.

I've crashed many times while trying to land re-arming trips. The game just lets you attempt the landing again, while giving you the option of skipping it at any time.

Then once you're done, you're sent back to the mission where you left off.

Nothing's riding on these landings.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

But I've gotten better. And this is my first time playing an Ace Combat game, so everything is a challenge. It's also a lot of fun.

(I bought the game on Saturday.)

Jam it back in, in the dark.
