Can you please stop making retarded assumptions please?
The development using the Wii controller has been said to be fairly easy and since it's based off GameCube development kits it is very easy and cheap to develop on the Wii. The devkits cost less than even the PSP devkits. Iwata has already stated that all Wii videogames from Nintendo will be at max $50. He said that for short, simple, budget games they may sell at $20 or $30 and/or be sold online via the virtual console for a low price. Third parties such as EA may up the price to $60 or $70 dollars like they have for 360 games because they're assholes but that remains to be seen. As Perrin Kaplan said, they are still figuring out what to pack together when selling controllers. Right now it looks like the zapper and Virtual Console controller will be sold separately and the wiimote and nunchuck attachment will be sold together. Personally, I'd love to have them all bundled together if it didn't cost too much. Nintendo is looking to sell these at low affordable prices so you can get the most enjoyment out of your system with friends and family. It's part of their crede for Wii that they want the system to be inclusive so I can't imagine them being very expensive. Whatever they come up with I'm sure will be good. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Alone? Probably not unless Nintendo has a way to have games compressed really well, form a list of downloaded games that can be redownloaded quickly if space is needed for newer downloads, and keeps the savegame data. Then that amount of space could work.
I think Nintendo is going to recommend that if you're serious then you upgrade to a bigger SD card for more storage and/or use an external harddrive via the USB ports. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Officially, no. The specifics haven't been stated completely yet. I work off of bits and pieces of stated information, a bit of speculation, and common sense. Read my last two posts again, dude.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |

Why can't you just import? Does it end up costing the same due to shipping? Or is it because of your PAL TVs?
I mean I'd do that if those weren't problems or something. What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Oh goodness, I really hope Nintendo makes it region free. Sony is. Nintendo would be dumb not to. I hope they let you download and play japanese games too. That would be killer. I'm shooting too high but man that would rock.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Yup that came from a quote from Iwata. =)

Besides, you may be able to transfer those games to your computer via the SD cards to make more room. I really wonder how Nintendo is going to prevent piracy this time around.
Double Post: And that looks awesome, Infernal! =D Pangya looks like some fun arcade golf. It's a shame it won't be going online but if that means for a better offline experience then so be it. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I have a feeling that Nintendo would try to get their first game from Tecmo in fucking forever over to the States. Fanboys will eat it up that some DOA characters are in it. If not and it's still an awesome game then importing shouldn't be a problem if Nintendo is smart and doesn't do region locking.
I'd rather play arcade golf than sim golf. Same goes for most games actually. I fail to see the drive behind realistic games unless it adds to the mood or atmosphere i.e. Resident Evil 4. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
No, no, no, no, no, no, no. For Wii. I'm talking for Wii. I'm fully aware the original PC game is very online based.
How ya doing, buddy? |
Yes, but it would have not been nearly as fun to say out loud. =D
How ya doing, buddy? |
A good deal of them I most certainly do. =)
FELIPE NO |
Not really.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
I hope that's not it. I enjoy cover art. I don't enjoy giant company logos or design blobs that cover said enjoyed cover art. The DS is okay but the cases are pretty different anyway. I hope Nintendo leaves it to a corner or something.

Um, I always thought that was where you put your SD flash card. I don't think it's going to be something crazy like a projector. In fact I'm pretty certain it isn't.

Native speaker or not, devilmaycry, I'm going going to do you the favor of banning you from this thread. If there's anything I hate more, it's those who spread misinformation because of ignorance. Get the fuck out.
Yeah, and amusingly devilmaycry will be banned from such a useless thread if I close it for a new one. I'll either rename this thread later or make a new one when I've got my computer set up and everything. Moving home from college is a bitch. Most amazing jew boots |
We're talking Famitsu here, Lukage. The Japanese are interested in four things for the PC: Pangya Golf, MMORPGs, dating sims, and hentai games (the last two boil down to the same thing most of the time). And most likely it was just a poll for just consoles and handhelds.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
294? That's a really pathetic poll.

My guess is if these are sold at all they would be available online through Nintendo's website. It wouldn't be logical to sell these through retail outlets unless they sell extremely well online and even then it's a crapshoot b/c you might have already expended the demand of such a niche market.
My guess is that if Nintendo doesn't go through with it (which they should) then 3rd party companies will come up with a better all-in-one solution classic controller (and they'd only need to add two more buttons on the face which is complete lol at Nintendo for not already figuring it out) or their own versions of retro controllers or snazzed up versions of retro controllers. That's a reasonable guess and from hints that's likely, however there has been no set price set yet. As usual we're in the dark.
