I've seen lots of those bootleg iPods, online and offline...they pop up at Asian markets, street vendors, iffy computer retailers, and flea markets sometimes. I'm guessing that you'll get an 8 gigaBIT player, which is equal to one gigabyte...technically, they're telling the truth, I guess, and I'm sure that eBay will side with the big-time seller. As for video...eh, I wouldn't bet on it being able to play anything besides a tiny, nasty-looking thing.
Think of it this way. If it was possible to make an MP3 player the size of an iPod nano, that had 8 GB of real space and good video playback and could be sold for $85, don't you think that Apple, who have a huge research budget, would be making one?
Jam it back in, in the dark.
