Does this mp4 player work?
I just brought one just like this and am wondering if this really holds 8 GB and what can I do if the player doesn't really hold 8 GB?
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-8G-8GB-8-GB-...QQcmdZViewItem Is there a way to contact ebay about a fradualant auction? Can I get my money back if this player is not 8GB? http://home.comcast.net/~supremesolu...tos/mp4445.jpg |
Yeah looks like you got hosed to me.
http://pages.ebay.com/securitycenter/index.html Use that page to report him. Good luck, Ebay is very good at ignoring user problems. In the future, users that have 25,000+ auctions under their belt, regardless of the feedback that is given, should be avoided. Also, users who set their feedback to private is a HUGE red flag. |
I've seen lots of those bootleg iPods, online and offline...they pop up at Asian markets, street vendors, iffy computer retailers, and flea markets sometimes. I'm guessing that you'll get an 8 gigaBIT player, which is equal to one gigabyte...technically, they're telling the truth, I guess, and I'm sure that eBay will side with the big-time seller. As for video...eh, I wouldn't bet on it being able to play anything besides a tiny, nasty-looking thing.
Think of it this way. If it was possible to make an MP3 player the size of an iPod nano, that had 8 GB of real space and good video playback and could be sold for $85, don't you think that Apple, who have a huge research budget, would be making one? |

Rakka is right, it says 8 Gb on the site, so it probably is going to only come out to one gigabyte. And yeah, it's probably a fake MP3 player that popped up in an Asian market and is pretty fake.
He didn't say 8 gigabytes, but he did say Gb, so technically, he would win and there isn't much you could do. Sorry. His feedback is hidden, although at the same time, he has a generally positive rating. Wait and see what you get I guess. |
thanks I will reply back when I get the player.
Double Post: Does anyone know if I could call the credit card company to stop payment or get it back at least? |
I have seen those often where I am. They are basically a nano but smaller (from my impressions) and can be a bit thinner. I have forgotton the brand name at the moment but I am sure I will see them again. THey hold no more than a gig.
Also...on e-bay itself: http://reviews.ebay.com/nano-knock-o...AT:-1:SEARCH:1 |
