Blame Sony Computer Entertainment America for that one. They have that "policy" where 2D games can only be released on PS2 if their bundled with another 2D game for the same price as a 3D game, or $20 for a single 2D game. SNK would lose alot of revenue if they brought out everything here. Of course, it doesn't help that SCEA is a bunch of greedy pricks that think they know exactly what gamers want.

I agree. I'm most looking forward to the Wii and it's classic downloadable games.

Also, don't expect any 2D games on PS3 either. Apparently SCEA wants to ban all 2D games form PS3 regardless. All that horsepower, might as well use it, right?
