All these Final Mixes, Last Missions, Substances, Side Stories, and Special Editions are just stir fried garbage to get people to buy the same game again. But Square is the most notorious, rereleasing a movie that failed as a sequel anyway. I bet they planned all this from the start, 'Hey, lets sell them the prototype first then release a deluxe edition later so they'll have to buy it again.' What a cheap way to make money, shameless bastards.
For the record, Advent Children should have been a LotR calibur movie, not some 1 hour action flick.

Sqaure does it cause of the damn bankruptcy and the fact that since Movie DVDs can pull the special edition crap, so can they, cause they know Japanese fans will eat it up.
And special edition can be worth buying a game again if done right, like Final Mix for KH2, we get a friggin PS2 remake of COM along with other stuff. That's a extra game right there for people who dont have GBAs for COM. If AC has enough new footage it may be worth it, though from the looks of it that is DONE for more cash in, cause unlike live action movies, animation is usually never deleted after the animation is done, they do it during story boarding. The fact they are going this far shows they just want more moolah from crazy FF7 fans.
How ya doing, buddy?
