Square Enix TGS surprise?
 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't SE say that they had a special surprise to show us at TGS? I'm not talking FF13 and FFv13, we know about those already. I'm thinking a FF7 remake for the PS3. Is any one thinking the same thing? I mean come on, SE knows how bad the fans want it, and they got themselves into somethin' they shouldn't have by showing that FF7 PS3 demo, now we all want it!

2 more days~~ and we will know the secret :)

New Chrono game, anyone?

Parasite Eve 3 and Einhander 2. This is most probable. It's the only logical thing Square-Enix can do or release at this point.

Hehe, maybe Kingdom Hearts III...who knows. (I highly doubt it though...) Maybe other Final Fantasy Compilations?

I wish they would come out and say Chrono Break is now currently in development. I would actually love Square again if they did this.

Anyways, more than likely it won't be nearly as big as we make it out to be. But at least it is fun guessing!

I hope its Square ceasing to exploit the Final Fantasy name. 'Surprise! No more bullshit spin-offs!' 'Also, we fired all the idiots who made Final Fantasy XI, Dirge of Cerberus, Advent Children, every other pretentious sequel and our Fanboy Service Department has been shut down.'


But seriously, I hope the 'surprise' isn't just another Final Fantasy. Let it be something unique like a new tri-Ace game.

Hopefully there will be a small announcement of FFV and FFVI being ported to GBA in English (well, okay, FFV already is).

Anyway, mayhaps they will revive an old series long forgotten. There are certainly enough of them. A new Chrono Trigger game would be nice, especially if it would tie up loose ends...

It's sad how you guys're holding out hope for Chrono. Look, Chrono Cross couldn't do it, and that was only five years after CT. There ain't no way they'll get the Chrono "feel" back now. I'm deeply sorry, believe me, I liked that game too.

Actually, to be quite honest, I liked it more while I was spriting it. Don't know, maybe it was getting an appreciation for all the detail that went into the artwork. Playing it was great fun but I think it was a case of "you don't know what you have until it's gone". God those were the days. Late SNES era - early to mid Playstation era. GOD'S OWN HAND of gaming. Fucking Eden right there. I only say that because I haven't played any new games in seven years. Don't mind me, I'm a codger.

A Final Fantasy Compliation for the PSP, perhaps?

Parasite Eve 3 with Shimomura composing and whoever directed the first game (instead of the semi-horrible second one) will be anything and everything I always wanted.

Didn't Square already give their presentation at TGS? All I've read so far is a barely-new FFXIII trailer played behind closed doors and KH2:FM.

I think TGS has started, but I think the Surprise is tomorrow.....

SquareEnix should announce Parasite Eve 2 and we'll just pretend PE2 for the Playstation was a horrible nightmare. Go ahead ask me. Is there a PE2 on Playstation? Nope, I sure don't remember it. See? Now we can get the real sequel we deserve to such a great game.

This word has no place in any Square-Enix related topic, ever. They need more new and fresh titles rather than ports and remakes.

I would have liked Vagrant Story 2 too, but now that Matsuno is gone, I don't. I don't want anyone else screwing with his world.

the most probable thing wouls be a chrono game, because we all know that there will be more final fantasy and more kingdom hearts.

Crisis Core: Summon fights were also a big part of the trailer. There was footage of Zack fighting off Bahamut and Ifrit, with the former being all CG and the latter going from CG and transitioning to real-time combat.(from ign)
