I don't know what I'd do with it. With a cracked lcd it seems too fragile to actually use on the go (how's the battery life on it?) Does the lcd screen even work?
In any case I'd probably restrict it to old games, dvd movies, and word processing. If the laptop doesn't work at all I think you're better off salvaging the ram, hdd, and dvd drive (if you know what to do with them.)
