Well I hear slim-types are more picky about reading certain formats. Though I'm not sure if that includes original dvd movies. Anyway, mind giving us more information to work with? Perhaps you can answer the following questions:

When did this start happening?
What was the last movie you played on it that worked?
What piece of software are you using to play the dvd movie? (Power DVD?)
This might be a little irrelavant. If you can, mind telling us what model number, brand, and/or age the dvd player is?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Have you tried installing any media software that came with your computer? Most computers that have a DVD drive comes with DVD software. Nine times out of ten its usually PowerDVD. Which is what I use.

In any case, I've got tons of extra copies laying around so I will PM you a zipped copy .
That should fix the problem.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
