Well it's supposed to be 12 episodes (fuck knows if anybody can confirm this though) so hopefully they'll pick up the pace. I guess good things just take a really fucking long time for whatever reason.

For example, Hellsing Ultimate is only up to 7 and it's been ongoing since 2006.

It is, but even by OVA standards that shit has taken forever. There was almost a year period each between the releases of 2, 3, and 4.

(Madhouse was slightly better about it when they took over after V but it's still about 7-9 months between releases)
