Ahahaha, man fuck that. I think AC is still pretty much a die-hard or nothing-at-all series. I can't think of any of my casual gamer friends who are actually interested in it.

I just hope it doesn't turn out like the GBA game and I might consider getting a PSP.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

No but this game is making me seriously consider it.

I'm a little late to the party here, but I'm floored. The controls took some serious getting used to at first, but after that it's pretty smooth sailing. I haven't invested too much time in the customizable planes, but the concept at it's core seems really really nifty. There's even an extra hardpoint add-on for EVEN MORE MISSILES. This is great.

The music seems like standard fare, but I've been playing without headphones for the first few missions so I haven't heard it all the way I like. Mission 10A (Jamming mission that slightly resembles Blockade from AC04) had a pretty bitchin tune though. WANT.

I just hope they don't mess around and get on the move with an official soundtrack realese.

Anyways, I should get on finishing this thing and unlocking more planes. GELB-2 out~

Also Rock, excellent work on the rip. I'll give it a listen and try to get on identifying tracks ASAP.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Thank you for the great list and credit.
Thanks! =O

I don't know anything about the composers as of current, but I'll look and post anything I can find. I've just unlocked the final mission I was missing, so it looks like tracks 9 and 11 are probably multiplayer themes. I'll keep working on it though. Also, good LORD at the special mission (Operation X).

So much dogfighting:
Basically OP. X is like the gauntlet from AC0. You face off against the custom planes developed for the Ace Combat Universe, namely the APALIS, CARIBURN, FREGETA, FORNEUS, XFA-27, X-02, and finally, the FALKEN.

You're confronted with a few early fighters at first, then others pour in as you down the starters. I didn't know what I was fighting, so I took in an SU-47. Took me 8 mins and 23 seconds to finish on my first attempt. Also, the FALKEN is the last enemy faced, and five or so of them (stealth, ugh) show up at the same time, and apparently the AI has no issues using the TLS (protip: Don't let it get behind you).

It wasn't too bad though. Can't wait to give it a second shot with the FALKEN. =o

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
