FFXIII is multi, Versus XIII is still PS3 exclusive.
It better stay as exclusive.

Honestly, let's just all make titles non exclusive! That way, no one "wins" the "war" simply relying on upcoming titles!

There's nowhere I can't reach.
Jurassic Park Chocolate Raptor
Reactor online.
Sensors online.
Weapons online.
All systems nominal.

Versus XIII remains exclusive, but it's almost a sure bet that it will end up heading over to the 360 before too long. With all the buzz that FFXIII and SO4 produced being announced for the 360, they know a market for it on that console exists.

I'm certainly not going to sit here and hope anything remains exclusive. PS3 owners need a bone every now and then.

Who me? ._. Wasn't my post good enough?

Maybe I should just add my personal feeling. (Personal feeling? Pff, like you care.)

It just feels wrong, the fact SE is adding 13th installment of the series. If they are adding 13th, are they giving us some kind of hint they will start adding rest of FFs to Xbox? Or just add couple like they did on GBA.

As Xbox fan and Ps3 fan, I say this is messed.

Holy shit, a ban for a week? Didn't read that.

Oh blasphemy!

GoW2 should be better than first one. Oh blasphemy, how PC had 30% chapter than xbox one. Silly Microsoft.

P.S

RPG on Xbox </3.

Fable 2, I smell epic fail.

P.P.S

Don't nuke me plx.

Why? I'm not a fanboy by any stretch, but I'm quite glad that a game I was looking forward to is coming out on the system I already own. Is there something wrong with that?
Whoa, calm down friend. I probably should've clarified my post a little. I had just come from another forum where some of the people getting a hard on with their MS fandom was seriously entertaining me as it was as if these people worshiped the 360 and MS like some kind of god.

And I'm glad to see that there's going to be more FF for everybody. I have all three home console systems, and don't have preference for any one over the other as they all have their good and bad quirks about them. So sorry about the vaugueness there, let's not worry and be happy. Cheers!

Sony fanboys are worse especially the Wapanese. Ever watch that South Park episode with 'Smug' that simply describes the behaviour of some 360 fans.

Forums are filled with threads titled 'Square-Enix TRA!T0RSSSSSSSSSSS' or 'Should I still buy this game because SE suxs!!11!' This happened with Devil May Cry, it was like some 5 year olds had their drink spilled by a 6 year old.

I don't understand; us gamers win. We all get to play the games WE WANT rather than simply be restricted by console choice whether that be Wii, 360 or PS3.

The fact remains FFXIII is still coming out for the PS3 so what the hell is all the fuss about.

Personally if MGS4 does some time down the pipeline get ported there simply reamins no reason to spend £300-£400 to get a PS3. We are probably already a quarter or even a third through this next gen already.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Of course it's good for gamers to have titles go multiplatform. People just get all bitchy over shit like the FFXIII announcement because they so badly want to justify their decision in console choice.

EDIT:
Justify was a poor word. I think it's more that some people really want to say that they made the better choice in owning the the best console with the best games. At the time, PS3 had those exclusive games, but it's just getting harder and harder to be able to say that seriously when the 360 has nearly nabbed 75% of them - one by one.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Even though I hate to say it I think that M$ really impressed me, not with the obviously stolen gimmicks (avatars, cam happenings, SINGAN GEAMS) maybe because they impressed me so much that my expectations for either for Nintendo and Sony to rebound and that sadly did not happen.

Microsoft showed the most games, gameplay, and other content which kept me more or less interested (not mentioning a particular game that we have been debating in this thread about). Not much time was spent on showing through charts and graphs how much they have been owning the competition (Nintendo) or showing a lot of content spread across several formats that was just lackluster in general (Sony).

I'm glad there was no motion sensoring controller or any other gimmick, though the console is nearing its 3rd birthday coming up and I think the LIVE revamp is pretty good and the though of having a movie night with a few nigs over live isn't that bad of an idea.

The only problem I had really was the networks and studios annoucements, I guess because that doesn't apply to me because I have cable TV with a DVR (and/or can torrent whatever so I can take up the HDD space on my computer, not my bawks which has limited space as it is). Then there is the announcement of our favorite game that everyone wont shut the fuck up about which makes the said people sound kinda like this guy
YouTube Video
Though I am thankful that Nintendo and Sony were unsatisfactory to the masses so this hate was lightened but thats about it.

Hopefully some good announcements get advertised during the week on any and all platforms (everyday counts, hell, remember when brawl got announced on the LAST DAY of E3 06??)

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I fear that Fallout 3 and Fable 2 will be the two biggest dissapointments of the near future. If Fallout is as much of an rpg as Oblivion then it's basically going to be a non-linear FPS. In itself, that would be ok but that's not exactly a Fallout game is it? I'm just assuming that Fable will be crap because of the huge amounts of bare-faced lies the developers told before they released the first one. "You can go anywhere you want and fully customise your equipment and weapons" they said which was true, so long as the places you wanted to go were down the thin paths they'd laid out and you wanted to customise your equipment from the ten or so selections they offered. Fable was fun and all, don't get me wrong, but it was nothing at all like what they were promising.

I wouldn't give up on Fable 2 just yet. It's one I've been keeping an eye on and speaking to my mate at Lionhead recently it sounds like they might have got it pretty right this time. There's still the potential for it be crap, aye, as with all games, but it's looking hopeful.

Microsoft has quite a powerful line-up of titles and I'm glad that Square-Enix realized that the 360 is better for their Western gaming market. Seeming as how the PS3 is hot in Japan and it's not so hot in the western hemisphere, it only makes sense that Japanese game companies branch to other consoles.

But that all aside, I love this year's E3. Microsoft has certainly pulled out all the stops. Mirror's Edge and Far Cry 2 look to be the most realistic games this year. Then you have Fable 2 which hopefully will be longer than its predecessor. Dead Space which seems to be a Doom meets Resident Evil meets Condemned scenario. Gears 2 and RE 5... oh and FFXIII which saves me the trouble of buying a playstation 3. So yeah, I'm excited for the x-mas season .

Seeing the recent pictures of the new dashboard I just hope Microsoft will have some consideration for low bandwidth users this time. They need to implement some kind of cache like the recent PSN update for smooth surfing.

I hate that every time I log in to XBL it takes forever for the icons to load. Ironically, I can play online perfecly.

I have nothing to say about Fable except "meh".

As someone going through Oblivion at the moment, if this is what Fallout 3 does indeed turn out to be - its safe to say it wont only be hugely disappointing but incredibly overrated, just like Oblivion.

You know someone at Lionhead? Can you ask him if anyone went back and read any of the interviews Molyneux did before Fable was released after they'd finished it and compared what he said you could do with what you could actually do? If not, he might want to suggest that someone does it this time coz the game Pete was describing in his pre-release interviews sounded fucking brilliant although sadly, nothing like, you know, Fable.

Just remove every other sentence from any interview he does, and that's a better indicator of what to expect from the game.

In all seriousness, he needs to stop shooting so damn high. Everyone learned their lesson the first time, he needs to be spending more time assuring us we're getting what he promised us years ago this time around rather than hyping this one up further.

You guys saw this thing?

Before I saw the video I didn't really get the point of the new interface (I find the current one extremely user-friendly and fast), but now that I sw it I kinda get it and I'm quite excited about it even. I doubt the Netflix stuff will make it overseas, but regardless it looks sleek and I'm sincerely hoping they'll add some kind of search or something for the Marketplace.

However, my favorite part is when the guy goes something like "we think Miis avatars are a great innovation". I hope he meant that as a joke, because it's funny either way!

That interface does look sexy as hell. They've definitely realized that the service has outgrown the original design, and they've gone and fixed it.

What the fuck is the purpose of the new dashboard. It runs under the Vista engine, right. ::RAM melts:: I like how they fill up most of the screen with a boring ass, plain gray background. Why not make it so the content takes up the entire screen, like a wallpaper.

The media guide for Xbox 3 will simply be Internet Explorer 5.

So you're bumping this thread just so you can post your asinine remarks? Yeah, great.

See I'm no massive fan of Microsoft, but this new dashboard looks massively better than the current version and will introduce a bunch of features that will be really good to have. You're complaining about the background, well a) I quite like the look, and the mocked-up theme look is much better than it currently is, and b) the current dashboard includes an awful lot of very boring, very poorly used whitespace and advertising, so how is this worse?

How about you fuck off back to the hole you crawled out of Megalith.
