Microsoft E3 Conference EVERYONE LAUGHS
So Microsoft had a big ol conference today. Something about CASUALS and guitars and Final Fantasy 13 and noone was all that impressed.
Let's talk about it! |
Like anyone will be impressed by any of the conferences this time around.
|
I for one was pretty surprised about Final Fantasy XIII.
Tomorrow, Sony's gonna announce that Halo: Blue is a new game for PS3. And something aboyt FF7. Sony's gonna have a hard time following this while Nintendo... who am I kidding? They'll announce some plastic thing and (hopefully) a new sidescrolling Mario for WiiWare. |

The best part about E3 is watching pissed off fanboys flail around. Hilarious.
|
Yes. It's what I look forward to each year. :)

Until someone announces Suikoden VI, I don't care. |

Do people still even go to E3 for anything other than the free keyrings? |
Sometimes they go for booze and women because they don't know better.
|
I can do that in my local pub without having to fight off rabid nerds and dubious cosplayers.
|
The only people surprised about the move to the 360 are the people who think that the only reason Square made games for Sony systems for so long was because of some sense of loyalty or honor rather than the ridiculous gobs of cash they made. Also known as fucks.
|
I find the 360 fanboy's reaction to FFXIII very amusing. If I didn't know any better, I'd think these people owned stock in Microsoft. I don't really care one way or the other though. Competition is good, and FFXIII won't be a day one buy for me anyways since I know the game will be available for a long time to come, and will have price cuts if I wait (a.k.a. play through my backlog) long enough.
|
I'm surprised no one else is geeked about the Netflix Watch It Now feature coming to XBL.
No one else is a Netflix member here at GFF? |

Now if they supported GAMEFLY. Never would happen, but one can dream... |
|
Anyone else disappointed in the Fallout 3 gameplay video? It seems like it's pretty pointless to make it a FPS at all if they aren't going to make the AI any smarter.
|
Eh, you can't kill kids in Fallout 3 either. I'm just gonna play the game and not really give a shit because god damn I can't shoot Timmy's nuts off.

: rimshot : I wish I could bring myself to care about Final Fantasy 486346 on the 360, but ... I can't even bring myself to care about the FFT spin-offs. |

As for MS, I can understand their desire to cash in on the growing 'causal' market (still hate calling it that), but some of the language used almost makes it sound like it's bad to be a more 'hardcore' gamer. I just hope they don't lose sight of the rest of us in this rush for the middle ground. |
Personally I thought that FFXIII wasn't going to come to the 360 as all the rumors had dried up about 6 months ago. Seeing the faggy Sony fanboys on gamespot trying to conjure some sense from this is halarious. At least it didn't have the stupidity of the reaction Devil May Cry 4 suffered from said faggy Gamespot members.
If MGS4 was also announced for the 360; Sony would literally have to sell their system for £150. I suspect the Sony presentation to suck like every year and I don't know what to expect from Nintendo. |
Is it both of the FF 13 or just FF13?
|
I got fed up with the constant console wars, so I'm getting a 360 to accompany my PS3. TAKE THAT EXCLUSIVES. Real hyped about the Fable 2 coop thing though. The different worlds every player would create seemed diverse enough for something different.
And Fallout 3 looked like Oblivion + Bioshock a little. Hope it won't be disappointing though, with the violence and somewhat dark humour it used to have. |

Then again, FFT is my all-time favorite game ever. So thats kind of hard to continue off of. |
Is the MS presentation avaliable anywhere to watch in full? I missed it.
Also let the stupidity begin GameTrailers.com Forums Database Error |
