Sorry for the delay, but my cable went out while I was tabulating everything. Smelnick is on the brink of elimination; if he doesn't win in Arizona, he's finished. Identity Crisis' attack on Nevada was nullified by ctu's Tanks, so both IC and Smelnick got 1 gil.
Lots of sexy action going on tonight: -Smelnick/Domino for Wyoming: Domino defends -orionmk3/Domino for Wisconsin: orionmk3 conquers -ctu/Yeldarb for Florida: ctu conquers -ctu uses Tanks to take Nevada -Domino/Yeldarb for Utah: Yeldarb defends -orionmk3 uses Sexy Beam to take 10 gil from Identity Crisis -Domino uses Sexy Beam to take 10 gil from Smelnick -Smelnick uses Sexy Beam to take 10 gil from Domino Jam it back in, in the dark.

ctu is correct; he did some spending before Griffin's Sexy Beam, so he only had 3 gil left. In a perfect world, the chart would be updated instantaneously, and Griffin would have known this, so he can keep his Sexy Beam and use it another time. Dullenplain and Ryuu both missed 24 hour deadlines, so they forfeit those attacks.

Smelnick has been eliminated. Who gets the spoils is a tricky situation, because the pivotal battle turns out to be in Nevada, where Identity Crisis attacked Smelnick, but before the battle was resolved, ctu used Tanks to take the state. Originally, I had awarded 1 gil each to IC and Smelnick, but in order to solve who eliminated Smelnick, I randomly chose a number for Smelnick, and then ran the battle. IC conquered, so he gets the spoils from Smelnick.
Today's special item is the Mime of Distraction. Your mime will artfully distract one of your opponents, causing him to lose one turn. Results: -Smelnick/Dullenplain for Arizona: Smelnick conquers -Identity Crisis/Smelnick for Arizona: Identity Crisis conquers -Identity Crisis/Smelnick for Nevada: Identity Crisis conquers -Identity Crisis gets spoils of war 29 gil and 2 items (the original Tanks and Energy Boost) -Dullenplain/Domino for Kansas: Dullenplain conquers -Dullenplain/orionmk3 for Missouri: Dullenplain conquers -Plarom uses Sexy Beam to take 10 gil from Dullenplain I was speaking idiomatically.

You'd have to survive as a Warlord until 9am tomorrow, orion, since tribute is collected at the end of each day. You might want to rethink your strategy. Also, for purposes of Warlords and items, Alaska is connected to Washington State, and Hawaii is connected to California.

Very well then. orion_mk3's nuclear bomb is another success, wiping out 4 states and making him a Warlord (for the moment). This also nullifies the pending battle for Kentucky (orionmk3/Domino); I gave 1 gil to Domino, but no extra to orion (since he got one from the nuke, and he'd just be attacking himself if he had won the battle).
-Dullenplain/Identity Crisis for Nebraska: Identity Crisis defends -Griffin/Identity Crisis for California: Identity Crisis defends -Plarom/Identity Crisis for Maryland: Identity Crisis defends -orionmk3 drops an Atomic Bomb on Pennsylvania, and the fallout spreads to Virginia, Kentucky, and Maryland EDIT: Just realized the nuke nullifies Plarom/ctu for PA as well, so I gave them each a gil. How ya doing, buddy?

For my epic first attacks of the game, I'll be reclaiming Idaho and attacking Tennessee, Arkansas, and Wyoming. Additionally, I'll be sending in tanks to conquer Delaware and dropping a newly purchased atomic bomb on West Virginia. I'll PM the other 4 possible states in a moment, but that should be the end of Ryuu. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.  |
