No there wasn't.

There was a Grandia 2 port though, and it was TERRIBLE. Holy god damn SHIT. It makes the PS2 version look like the second coming of Christ.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I saw like .00015 secs of it.
That's about as long as you can go in the PC version before it crashes, actually.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Actually, I played the PC port and got about 20 hours in. The in-game videos were really ugly but as far as I can remember, it wasn't a terrible port. It was a terrible game though.
While the quality of the game itself is debatable, I had some pretty serious technical issues with it, and I know I'm not the only one. Perhaps it was a problem with my hardware configuration at the time, but I doubt it.
