No, the update options are stored on the iPod, not on the computer. You have to disable auto-update on your iPod by using iTunes. Then those settings stay on your iPod for any other computer with iTunes you plug it into.

And if you really want to know, all your songs are gone.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
