This first is from the Exabyte Mammoth Drive which is obviously a tape drive. They were pretty common back in the day.
And the second one, holy crap that's from an IBM central mainframe but it's going to be pretty damn hard to find out which units will actually run it because it depends on the density of the tape. Is there any manufacturing numbers or IDs anywhere on that thing? Jam it back in, in the dark.
