Damn. What a shame. I've compared playing ps2 titles on my ps2 and my ps3 upscaled to 1080p with smoothing on. The PS3 makes PS2/PS1 games much more tolerable on my 46" widescreen 1080p Sharp Aquos. The backwards compatibility is very good. And the fact that you can save all your games to the ps3 drive makes it even better than having 10 thousand memory cards.
They perfected it and then they killed it. I say buy the good 80GB model while you still can. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
