Interview with Ari Pulkkinen
We recently had the chance at VGM Rush to discuss with Ari Pulkkinen, composer of Shadowgrounds and Super Stardust HD. Topics discussed include his objectives with the SSHD soundtrack, his opinion on orchestral VGM, some soundtracks and artists that influenced him, his next project, and more. If you don't know much (or at all) about this composer who strives at making his music fresh and original, now might be a good opportunity to learn a few things.
You can find the interview here: www.vgmrush.com/feature.php?id=3 Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I love this guy's stuff on SSHD. The next project he mentions will have a different sound, but I hope it's just as good.
Also, anyone who puts Michael Land on their favorite composers list is okay in my book. ![]() There's nowhere I can't reach. |
