Building my first system
Thankfully, a friend who is more skilled then I in building will be helping me out..but I ordered all the parts, etc. and the case actually showed up today. Anyhow, let me know what you think.

However, if you want SLI, then the system you got is fine. Not too bad of picks, though I would have gotten a 4200 X2 or maybe a 3800 X2 and overclocked it a bit. That would mean that I could've picked up a 7950GT or something at least a bit better than the GS.

The IDE controller card is just temporary, so I can throw in my older harddrives. Once I have the appropriate funds, I'll be upgrading them and loosing the card.
We went AMD because I generally prefer them, and its easily upgradable for the future. And Dayton, SLI is just an added bonus for me. I don't do much in the way of graphics, more of a console gamer then a pc gamer..mainly I use the computer for general tasks, browsing the web, downloading various things, making the occassional dvd, etc. The most extensive thing I really use it for is audio editing..which really means I should've gone mac(or so I'm told). But, the programs I use on the p.c. are more known to me. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?
