My icons are spaced far apart
I'm using Windows XP. Out of nowhere, my icons got all screwy. There is an abnormal amount of space between them on my desktop; I can no longer place my Recycle Bin where it once was when I have "align to grid" set. (I usually have it in the bottom left hand corner, right above the Start Button). In Windows Explorer, when viewing a folder in Thumbnail mode, the thumbnails are spaced very far apart.
I Googled and can't get anything. I don't want to have to reinstall (or clean install Windows). Any ideas? How ya doing, buddy? |
Try...
Under the Appearance tab in the display properties, hit 'Advanced' and try fiddling with "Icon spacing." The default should be 43 for both horizontal and vertical. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Holy crap. Never seen that in all my time with Windows. Ur teh man. It was set to 123. I don't know how it got like that.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
