Yes, this video is fantastic. It is simply beautiful. A true work of art.

coldplay's "the scientist" has always been a favourite. it's a very simple concept, but the way they executed it was pretty neato. chris martin actually learned to sing the lyrics backwards and even though it's noticeable in some parts of the video, he did a pretty convincing job of it too. my favourite part is when the leaves are going back up into the tree. <3

the white stripe's "seven nation army" always come to mind when I think of awesome videos. this is a great example of how post-production can take simple shots and turn them into something incredible. it makes me dizzy sometimes.

Funniest promotional video I've seen.

Only two other good ones that come to mind are Porcupine Tree - Piano Lessons, and Muse - Supermassive Black Hole. All the other promo videos I've ever seen are typically awful, and don't really consist of much more than middle aged men sweating it up in a studio.

So great. I love Bowie already, but seeing him running away from Trent Reznor is awesome, as is the song.

I love that stupid song! And I love Eugene! It was quite a good choice for VW to make, including that song in their new commercial.

Blur - The Universal Has a Clockwork Orange theme to it (never seen the movie but I know the theme). Very cool, very artsy-fartsy. Not to mention their one of my favorite bands and this is one of my favorite songs by them (or at least out of their singles).

Sum 41 - The Hell Song Sum 41 are so middle school, but the video still cracks me up.

Foo Fighters - Everlong Just classic.

The Prodigy - Breathe While most people prefer "Smack My Bitch Up" by The Prodigy due to the controversy, I prefer this one. It's my favorite song by them and the video is very creepy. I remember being a kid when this came out and it would give me nightmares. Actually, watching it now and thinking back on that, I must have been the biggest pansy on earth.

Radiohead - No Surprises Beautiful song, beautiful video.

The Smashing Pumpkins - Ava Adore My least favorite SP single, but something about the video really fascinates me. I guess it's all the stop motion, mixed with the fact that it's all done in one take that I find pretty cool. According to the commentary on the DVD, it was hell to make, and I can imagine so.

Queen - Who Wants To Live Forever Tied with The Smashing Pumpkins for my favorite band of all time. This is the most beautiful song I've ever heard in my life, and the video fits perfectly.

Protest the Hero - Heretics and Killers

They're a progish/metalcore style band. The video is pretty neat in that they play off the end of Wizard of Oz when the witch dies and the flying monkeys are out of the job. They try to find other jobs yet are terrible at them, so they get together and jam. Pretty funny stuff.

Actually, this video has absolutely nothing to do with A Clockwork Orange except for the lead singer's mascara.

I've always found this video hilarious (random fags dancing in the background)

Ah, okay. Like I said, I've never seen the movie, I just remember people on the official Blur forums saying it borrowed some things from the movie.

I can't post links yet because I haven't made enough threads lol. But check out "Dirty Vegas: Days Go By". I don't even really like the song all that much, the video just brings up memories and such.

I've seen many music videos by some of the bands that I used to follow, but generally not a lot. A few that I can think of:

I go along with this one as well. Not extreme in any sense, but it's hard to imagine anyone would put themselves through this to make such a music video. The lighting and colours are cool and is fitting with the ever-present glockenspiel.

Radiohead - Fake Plastic Trees Again, cool lighting and nice colours. I love Thom Yorke's facials expressions, and his hair is really nice in this video. This could almost be "Lost In the Supermarket".

Radiohead - Street Spirit Another Radiohead, but this one is in black and white. Cool Thom Yorke action.

Manic Street Preachers - If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next I like how the mannequin family next door to the band act as an embodiment of the song's 'see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil' message.

I think the big question was, why does he wear more eyeliner under one eye?
