Hentai is awesomely bad. Granted I never find it actually arousing, I watch hentai when I'm bored because it's usually entertaining. Sometimes I find myself chuckling, even laughing out loud, at how absurd the scenario may be. Dialogue is laughable, and some scenarios leading to sex are even worse than real life porn at times.

However, the short little black man is right, hentai can have a good story at times, such as the Type Moon games. It's unfortunate I can neither write, speak, nor read Japanese, as I'm sure there are engaging stories and actual good drama in some high production hentai games. Shuffle! comes to mind, as the anime did have a good amount of drama that was seemingly taken from the game itself (judging by the CG set I have). Even Bible Black had a good, interesting story to it, despite some minor guro and futa from the scary blonde teacher. I'm actually looking forward to watching the sequel. People just need to rip episodes into ogm or mkv formats.

Really, hentai is just another sexual outlet people get their jollies from. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose. Hell, I like hentai for all the wrong reasons. :tpg:

Hentai is just like porn but with a story.. oh wait, porn has bad stories too... um... it's ok to watch once in a while it's just like real porn, it's just entertainment. But, hentai does take most of their stuff too far. I can't stand rape, gang rape, alien rape, d-girls and all that other freaky shit but mostly it's the rape I can't stand. Just keep it as simple regular mutually desired sex. Like real porn, the girls aren't forced to do it but they want to do it (or atleast they act like they want it from the start)

Believe it or not, the concept of "sex with non-human fantasy" could be traced back to japanese history. I saw one painting in wikipedia titled "the dream of fisherman's wife", telling a story about the dream where the wife is being f***ed up with an octopus. :doh:

Hentai is disgusting, though suggestive undertones are okay -- hell I like it when there are some undertones. I've been reading A.I. Love you - an old manga series (yes, I am a guy) - and I like how there are undertones, but no sex. Sure, they make get naked or something like that may happen, but the author always finds a way to make a funny situation out of it.

I tend to read those 13+ or 16+ mangas, but I wouldn't go near anything as filthy as Bible Black (a hentai anime).

Though, I do have to admit, some yaoi is cute - I mean if it is as innocent as a kiss here and there. Who the hell wants to see two guys have sex? Well, not me, anyway.

Boys don't see yaoi, they will hurt your eyes (like mine... when I saw NarutoxSasuke doing something you wouldnt imagine even in dream x_X)

But I'm glad to know there are guys who don't favorur hentai like I do. I thought I was bit abnormal since I dont like these things.

Hentai is discusting, now you can have some stuff that is close to hentai but not be gross, i thought Golden Boy was some of the funniest shit i have ever seen, so being perverted in that way is ok, but going so far as to animate some of the things i have heard about, i havnt accualy seen much. mostly from when i was first getting into anime with kazaa, i would be looking for all the stuff for an anime, and a hentai would pop in there and i wouldnt know what the fuck it was. But Hentai is just overrated and gross.

Meh, personally its all about preferences man.. others hate, others like it. I play it for the storyline(ie. AIR, Kana~Imouto). They H-sceness are just there for eye-candy, tasty one netherless :). The Story is the true turn on :).

Whoever did the Words Worth anime could have done a lot more with the series if they'd spent less time on the cheesy sex and more on the actual story, which was kinda funny.
