I like a good SRPG and always hear good things about Disgaea, but it's one of those titles I've not got around to sampling yet (don't look at me like that). I've been tempted by the idea of picking up the PSP version, but I do love my DS and so if this compares well then I might be tempted by this.

Will have to see how it turns out, though I might just plump for the PSP version down the line anyways (since it'll probably be cheaper).

This is one of those times that I truly wish I didn't sell my PS2 copy of Disgaea... Yes, I sold it. For a decent amount of money, but still--it's nearly impossible to find a copy now. I have the PSP version as well, but it's just not the same, y'know?

In any case, it'll be nice to have the option to play on DS, too.

The PS2 version? Didn't they reprint that recently? I've found it in a lot of stores around where I am (Northern Virginia).

In any case. I have the PS2 version, the PSP version is shipping, and for whatever reason, I'm probably going to pick up the DS version as well. Yes, I realize I will end up with 3 copies of the same game, but it's Disgaea.

Reprint? I had no idea~ Would be nice if that's true though... I'll have to wait until September though, as with paying rent I'll be pretty broke until then... :eagletear:

So, what's the difference between this and the PSP version?

As far as I know, nothing, aside from being able to have Pleinair join your party, and online Wi-Fi play iirc.
