How bout I just send it to you through Aim? It takes less than a hour so that should help. For either of you.
What's your upload? If you're on a 768KBPS upload like me, it'll a couple of hours at the least for one transfer.
How about he just download it from a torrent like a good leech.
Either way this thread is not the place to pine for games, take it to PMs or Other Requests. On topic, is Neco Arc relatively easy to unlock? There's obviously no unlockables FAQ out just yet, so I've not found info on this so far. |
I keep fighting the little thing over and over but still no luck. I must be doing something wrong or maybe I have to activate The Blood Heat Move on her for both rounds.
Sorry... my isp hates torrents, i never download more than 3 kbps on torrents with full of seeds -_-

I hope that at least Neco Arc isnt so brutal than the original MB version...
More annoying than anything, so freakin' tiny... worse than White Len.
I got the game yesterday and have been playing it off-and-on. It's a solid fighter, and very fun to play. My favorite fighter is the Hisui & Kohaku team. Meido powaa~ I'm definitely gonna strive to be really good at this game, it seems to be convention-tournament material. |
I'm enjoying Mech-Hisui myself.
I guess I am a sucker for the cute maid, Kohaku. Her abilities are also kool. Using her broom which is a sword and flying across the screen dropping bombs. That's original u.u..
After a solid two hours before bed last night, I can confirm this game is awesome. I'm so glad I preordered it. The best thing about it that I can totally see my friend and I playing this for hours on end.
Currently, I used Akiha to beat single player on the hardest difficulty. I really like the button system and I managed to catch on pretty fast, even though I'm not really used to it yet. All of the characters are quite unique, except for Nysvqr and Mech-Hisui, which resemble Eddie and Robo-Ky from GGXX#R way too much. That aside, Kohaku and Akiha are probably going to be my main characters for the time being. The sprites aren't as flash as GGXX#R, but I'd say they're the next best thing. It's not like there's a huge demand for 2D fighters, so it's great to see such quality coming out like this. Oh, and completing single player and seeing "Secrets unlocked: 1%" was lol. I'll need to get to work on this. |
But what about the NAOMI-->PS2 port? the sprites seems too horrible? or it seems nice?
The sprites look fine, and if you'd read what I said, they're probably the next best to GGXX.
And I haven't played the NAOMI port so how the fuck should I know. Chances are noone else has either. |
Unless you live in Japan or your local arcade imported it, you didn't play the NAOMI port.
I know of course, but i saw a lot of videos and high-quality screenshot of the game and the game was a little "downsampled" between the PC and the NAOMI version, so i guess than the PS2 will get even more downsampled quality, you can see that if you play Capcom vs SNK2 on Dreamcast/GC/Xbox and then on PS2... its really annoying.
But oh well, if you say that seems good, its good news =) |
whenever it cames to NAOMI, Dreamcast > all ESPECIALLY when it came to the Virtua Tennis series.
Kotaku rocks. I love this character, along with her moves. Her cactus attack is by far the best attack I've ever seen in any fighting game next to Servbot's super.
I've completed single player twice now, on the hardest difficulty. The second time I didn't even continue once. And my completion is.. 2%. I don't know how this unlock system works but it sounds like a slow and painful process. |
So, does anyone know how to do the last arc for characters? In training mode I'm sometimes able to pull if off by being in Blood Heat and then pulling off an Ex-Shield, but that doesn't always work.
Is most of this game in japanese? Or is a good deal of it in english "not the voices, things like menus and such.
A good deal of the game is in English. You can figure out what things do if you know English. Or use gamefaqs. Or google.
Anyone knows how to get White Ren? I just got Neco-Arc but no clue for Ren.
I guess I need to spend more hours in Survival mode to see if I can unlock more stuff. |
So, I played the game a few times today. I tried out that dude with the flaming feet. (His name escapes me right now) Either way, playing with him seemed like Iori tactics galore. Poke 3 - 5 times, qcf + A or B x 3. After a while, I started to realize that this game suffers from the dreaded CAPCOM poke syndrome. Poking into combos is pretty much all I see in videos online. I need to see some more variety, and play styles! Every match going down the same way gets awfully boring... Either way, i'll still give this game another chance, and see how far I can get with it.
Holy shit.
Neco-Arc CHAOS ...loses. So I guess the character IS real. No idea how to unlock him, but then again this could still be some kind of elaborate hoax. Nevertheless, it made me lol. And I fought White Ren the other day for the first time. What a bitch. Took me forever to kill her, but I'm more anxious than ever to unlock her. How do you get Neco-Arc, anyway? Beat the game with every character? |
