Your favorite time of day?

So, do you guys even have one? That time of day you enjoy most for whatever reason.

Coincidentally mine's always around twilight, the half hour before the sun sets and after the sunset the time left before all light fades. Coincidentally this tends to fall between five and seven in the afternoon and that happens to be the hour (or pair of hours, really) of the Rooster, which I am.

Of course there's something similar to it, though in reverse, when the sun rises. But that's for another lifetime as far as I go. I love the light without the sun being in my eyes, smearing things. I love the warmth and, occasionally, the way the cool breeze feels against me. I think best at that time, and the only saddening point is how brief it is. A long time ago I had an obsession with Twilight Time by the Platters because of this very reason.

When I was a little OO and would take a nap in the afternoons, if I slept through the twilight I would wake up really sad. It felt like I had slept through something very important when darkness met me as I awoke. This deep feeling of longing and loss I've never been quite able to understand.

I love the early evening between the hours of 5:30 to 7:30pm. I don't know why.... I just do. It might be because its the end of the day and the best time to unwind. Of course, then I have to make supper, but in many cases, I just sit around instead...

I love still being up as the sun comes up on a crisp, clear night. It's just complete and utter peace.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Between the hours of 11pm and 3am. It's nice and quite and I tend to relax more during these times, even though by 3am I should really be asleep.

I love the end of the day (9 pm to 12 am). Whether it's time spent with friends or by myself, I can't help but enjoy what's going on during those hours. The peacefulness of being in my own mind as I lie in bed, or driving around with friends and telling stories. Love it.

Any time that it starts to get dark. Now it would be from about 5pm 'til 6am. I enjoy 2am the most and I don't know why. I think I like those times the most because it's much less hectic than the day, and I feel more awake at night mostly.

I've been a night owl for as long as I can remember. Even as young as 3 I sat up all night in bed. So, now my favourite time of day is anything from 9 pm - before dawn since it's peaceful and most of my friends are on IM then too because of time differences. Sadly there are not many (safe) jobs for night owls, so I have to be a zombie all day at work upon getting up at 7. I homeschooled and always had late classes in college, so this morning business is quite annoying . I find that I can't get to sleep before midnight, so I end up staying awake until almost 3 am most nights.

I'm most productive reaaaaal late at night. During school, I usually got the bulk of projects, homework, and studying done in the hours from midnight to usually around 4 or 5am, which is when I slept. Those hours shifted a bit now that I'm working to around 10pm to 3am. No work to do anymore, but that's when I like to work on my own little things, watch some shows, video game, etc.

Depends on the location. In the city, I love wandering around at night since all the streets are empty. It's the same thing for early in the morning.

Otherwise, I feel most comfortable in the late afternoon, as the sun is beginning to set but still has some presence in the sky.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

(Definitely) Not being a morning person, I prefer the dark, as for which dark, it's hard for me to pinpoint a time slot. Probably 8PM-10PM; I'm usually just being lazy between those times, hardly ever needing to do any mandatory jobs or activities. Basically it's my leisure time which is usually spent with TV, music and video games and occasionally a combination. (EG on the computer with music in the background, or TV going on in the background)

I also have found that my mind's most active at around 8-9, about as active as it is during the day (11AM-1PM - assuming I've had a decent meal[s]). But that doesn't mean I study or do homework at those times, necessarily.

I tend to be most productive at night in a dark environment with a few lights (from a computer screen or outside my window) so somewhere around 9 ish...but I also need my sleep, so I can't really start studying for 5 hours straight in that timeslot. =/

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

In terms of productivity, it would be the late night sometime after 12 AM to about 5 AM depending on how late I stay awake.

Otherwise, for purely atmospheric purposes, I prefer the late afternoon when the sun is low enough on the sky to cast light but in a gentler manner giving everything it touches a glow. This is best during the autumn or winter when the juxtaposition of warmth and coolness is just perfect.

Personally, I tend to favor the early afternoon time (i.e 1 PM - 3 PM) since nothing happens that much in my daily schedule at those times. It's also a perfect time for me to sit down and introspect/meditate/have my alone space and so on.

It usually depends on the time that I get up. If I wake up earlier, I feel great around 1pm. But because I'm not a morning person and am lucky if I'm up by 11, its usually later... 5 or so. Just that point when my body goes "Alright, let's go!"

There's something about 12pm to about 3 pm that I like. I think it may have more to do with the fact that I recognize that this means I still have a good bit of the day left to do things (assuming I'm not at work or in class). Generally, I usually am inside working or in class during those times, but days when I'm outside, this time of day makes me smile; more so when it's a sunny day.

The best time of day is definitely only found in the spring and summer - that golden hour around 7:30-8 when the sun is not down yet, but you can tell it's going down soon.

Everything gets the glow of a golden sunlight and it starts to cool off. This period of the day only lasts 30 minutes or so, but it's by far my favorite time of day. Especially if you're out on a lake someplace or maybe camping. You go chill out on a rock that faces west and watch the sun.

It's the warmest time of day. I love it so much. Too bad we don't really get it in the winter. I don't even get to witness any kind of sunset in the winter. My office faces east. ;_;

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I like the time from 7 PM to about 10 PM as thats my unwind time - or my time to get things done or relax and play games and watch animu. Of course this is without the nights of classes, if I don't play traunt (like anyone cares in College). Also, I generally hate weekday mornings, dragging my ass outta bed. ;__;

Possibly early morning for me, or sunset during summer. Early morning is pretty cool after an all-nighter with friends. It's really peaceful. Same could be said for sunset. Peaceful, and the perfect time to relax.

I always feel great in the morning dew for some odd reason. The walk to class when the air is still fresh, the sun is rising, the animals jittery, etc. is nice. Although I hate getting up early, I usually do to force myself to go to class (like 8 AM).
