Just like the thread i made for Magic, It is basically the same idea. This is the place where we can get together and discuss the game. Past experiences, idea for decks or combo, discussing whether or not a new ban card should be banned or not, asking for advice on situational duels( you have run into a situation where you have to face so and so monster with so and so effect, how do you deal with that?")

I used to play this before I got sick of it (and since they banned almost every card in my deck). I was a regional champion as well as the number one ranked duelist at my store. At the time I left I ran a magician's apprentice/magician of faith/chaos deck. I usually won within the first 5 turns (it worked almost flawlessly )

I hate the fact that they're always banning cards. I think it would be best to just limit the cards or just ban the combo. I mean, come on. Witch of the Black Forest, it was a badass ability for the card, better then Sagen or any of the other search monster cards(or at least alot of them).

Then they ban and unban cards. I'm sorry but that monster reincarinate is bullshit compared to monster reborn. Discard a card...then the monster has to be from your graveyard and it only goes to your hand? For my warrior deck, i rather just use Warrior Returning Alive.

Does anyone know where i can find a current online beckett for prices.. i wanna see how much my deck is worth.

Banning cards doesn't fix the main problem: that everyone runs the restricted cards, those 22 staples (Breaker, Heavy storm, MST, Sangan, D.D lady, D.D assailant, Exiled Force, Dust Tornado, Call, Premature, Sakuretsu, Smashing Ground etc.). Every deck is similar, which leads to a very boring game.

I quit actually somewhat in protest. I paid good money to get the overpriced cards and now I can't use them? What the F***! Screw Konami and Upper Deck, no more money from me.

Restricted isn't bad, that i don't mind because for the people that don't run those stupid ass combos, they can still use the cards but it shouldn't be allowed to runs certain cards together in a deck.

I only played the GBA games since I promise myself never to buy Trading Cards anymore after spending a lot of money for Pokemon cards. As for my in-game deck, I always use noobie cards as in cards that everyone uses.

It is just your typical Spellcaster deck, there is only slight variations if you compare with others.

Some of the bans make sense considering they were just too broken, while others make you wonder if they are just sitting on Japan's dick and copying their banlist even though nobody even used the combos that ended up being banned.

Why Mystic tomato? I mean, i don't have that many dark creatures... i have mostly earth creatures thus why I put in the Warrior Ladies. Even my spellcasters, most of them are other elements then Dark.

yeah, I could tell that your playing traditional. I enjoy that a bit more then following alot of the retarded ban list. But why you running 3 "seven tools"? Most people only run like 1 or 2 at most.

I would probably suggest getting rid of one and putting in an Sakuretsu or maybe a mizisrui.

Mystic tomato give you control on the field who when you oppo kill the tomato you can search for a mataza, don zaloog, spirit reaper or newdoria if you want to add some of thiscard, on you turn you can do lot of damage by summon a command and lol...

A lot of people are saying our new ban list will be what Japan just got, which means the return of Graceful Charity and Mirror Force. I don't particularly approve of that, but whatever works I guess.

Anyone have any thoughts on the new set: Shadow of Infinity (or has anyone even seen any cards from it yet for that matter)?

I think bring Graceful will be a good addition. I mean, i can understand why Pot was banned because you gain 2 cards without giving up anything.

At least, Graceful you still have to pay something for it.

I didn't see a reason for Dark Hole due to the fact that the player that played it also had the chance to lose something as well.

It nice that graceful came back, but witht the new set of SOI we can use treeborn frog for the cost of graceful

I was never lucky enough to be able to use every single staple, and I never wanted to buy singles like Yata Garasu, although I bought the games for the promo cards.
