Recover a damaged avi file

I have, I have this corrupted avi file that I got in a temp folder from my Screen Recorder software (bullent scree recorder btw). I was wondering if I can make it viewable some chunks or perhaps the whole file. So far I've tried using my usual video players and I got some shareware avi recovery programs without any luck.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Open it with Virtualdub, and just do direct stream copy to new AVI file.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
