Hmmm...considering Naruto: Clash of the Ninja 2 for GCN. Always wanted to play the series, but I skipped the first one because I know it's totally not worth the money. But it's not high in priority, and Wii should be comming out soon, so probably hold off on that.

Aside from that, Lego Star Wars 2 looks to be fun.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

There's 3 games that i'm looking forward in September.

First: King of Fighters 2006 -- I haven't played a single KOF games since 1995. So 2006 will be a re-introduction to the series. I sure as hell hope Geese Howard is in the game.

Second: NHL 2007 -- For the same reasons Ronz mentionned. It looks good as hell.

Last: Valkyrie Profile 2 -- I never played the first one but it looked awesome. So, I'll be hoping that the second one lives up to the standards established by it's predecessor.

I guess Colonel Skills doesn't like 'The Godfather' game. Who has played 'The Godfather' on the older systems? Is it good, bad, or in the middle?

well actually it's a prequel of Valkyrie Profile: lenneth that take place if I'm not mistaken 100 years before it (100 or 1000 I doN,t remember , but I know it's a prequel XD)

I really look forward to this because if you do the A ending you see very briefly Silmeria and the following discussion raises several interesting questions. Apparently it explain even some thing after Lenneth, don't know if it's true...

Even if the reviews aren't so hot, I'll probably pick it up when the prices cool off, which is what I've been doing for a few recent game purchases.
How long does it usually take for the prices to drop?

Depends on the title. GTA: SA stayed at retail $59.99 for over 14 months until it dropped to $25 at Walmart (Special Edition aka no Hot Coffee) by Christmas 2005, where as other titles of trickling sales can dive down within 2 months.

Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy > *

Actually, I might just pick up VP: Silmeria though just because for some reason games that are actually made for gamers seem to be released in smaller quantities, never drop in price before they disappear, then get pimped on Ebay for far too much $. It's a sad thing to do to a great title, really. I'd rather see the Maddens of the world released in smaller numbers and disappear quickly.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I just noticed this. CAN IT BE REAL? This was supposed to a LAUNCH GAME back in 2004. It was also THE first DS game announced to use the Wi-Fi connection. It was SO FIRST that when they announced it'd support online gameplay Nintendo hadn't even come up with the boring name of 'Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection'. THE FIRST. AND IT'S BEEN ALMOST TWO YEARS. I expect 12/10 reviews and so forth, Telegames. What's next, Duke Nukem Forever?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I was browsing around and found out that Gitaroo Man Lives! for PSP is also released this month, on the 29th, in PAL areas.

Surprising since we rarely ever see something before america. It just happens to be an awesome game. Still, I'm not entirely sure whether it's worth buying a PSP over.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Well I sure hope you are not an EA man because the 2K series have been better then EA games for the last 5 years. Except Baseball really. I don't see myself not picking up NHL 2k7 even if it somehow does not do graphically as well as NHL 2007. Although it should.

And you wouldn't believe how bad they fuckd up the Sabres team and indivual ratings and stats, etc. I heard on my local radio. Its insane and retarded.

Sorry, but I think EA is going to destroy 2k this year.

Improved controls with the introduction of the two stick control scheme, improved goalie intelligence, attemping to make the puck feel less like a magnet, and the return of Gary Thorne + Bill Clement to call the games, i'm sold.

Wow, looks like September is the first Month of Wallet Rape. Valkyrie Profile 2, Okami, Megaman ZX are going to keep me occupied for a good bit. At least until FFXII rolls around, or until October's wave comes in.

Edit: Oh snapplez. I overlooked Contact, which looks pretty interesting.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Wow, I can't believe I forgot this game, too. Now I can figure out what to do with the money I was originally planning to use for Star Fox Command (which I've been reading some pretty negative reviews about).

This month is definitely going to more than make up for my lack of summer spending.

EDIT: I guess I spoke too soon... the Contact pushback is news to me.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Oh come on like Rick Jeanneret doesn't sound practically the same every time he says it during real games. Only difference is how long he holds the OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO out.

Trust me considering he is a buffalo announcer, I have heard 1000s of games and no he doesnt do it the exact same way every single time.

And if he and Lorenz were the designated announcers in some hockey game it would sell millions upon millions easily. Lorenz is sometiimes questionable, but Jeanneret has arguably been the best play by play guy for decades.
