Who's had the biggest LAN?

Ok, I know that a large portion of us have gone to LAN parties; so what i wanna ask is what was the largest number of computers that you have hooked up together onto a LAN for the sake of gaming. Super large conventions where you have to pay admission don't count; unless of course that admission was a bag of chips or a case of bee...... coke. Use your own discretion when i say that.

Mine? I think, me and my crew had a total of 15 computers hooked up to a single network. Than after that my buddy's momma got pissed cuz the electrical bill went out the roof that month. Most of our computers are pretty powerful; think two were SLI, and most were 300+ watt PSUs.

30. I used to work in an internet cafe, and we had a monthly LAN gathering (we maxed out at 24 people) which alternated between CS 1.6 / CS Source and UT2k4.

There seriously NEEDS to be more games you can LAN with.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Round about 25. We had a few sessions of Doom at college, the tutors even joined in.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

The last LAN I went to, I wanted there to be a Rainbow Six: Vegas server, but alas, it was me and my lonesome.

I was speaking idiomatically.

36. All back in the computer days at grade 7. Whole class played Doom until we were spotted by the teacher.

I tell you, it's fucking awesome.

About 12 or so at college, we played unreal tournament over some macs during break... good times this one guy kept screaming like a woman when he died which to say the least had me cracking up. When we got caught by the staff me and about 4 other guys were thinking "oh shit!" but everyone else was pretty much like "YYYYYEEEEEAAAAHHHHH! Free kills!"

back in the dorms, there were times where we got 16-20 ppl in for lan games, usually either CS, UT, or MOHAA. crazy ridiculous fun for all hours of the week.... there was always a group gaming

the biggest one i actually had was about 40 at this youth technology conference thingy way way back the summer after my junior year of high school. there were about 400 computers set up, but we disconnected a quarter of them and plugged them into our own routers and switches. THAT was fucking awesome.

My old highschool let us have LANs a few times a year. I think you had to pay admission to get in, but it was just a general fee that covered being able to use the building that night for whatever we want (other people were there doing other things: watching movies or whatever). I think at most we had around 15-20 people there on computers at the same time. We've had a few other LANs at other people's houses of comparable size as well.

The largest I've personally hosted was at a hotel room with about a dozen computers and 15 or so people. We ended up blowing the circuit breaker for the room and we had to send someone down to the front desk to let them know so they could reset it. The girl at the front counter was pretty surprised from what I understand, she had apparantly never heard of that happening before.

Lol, thats true isn't it? Like every LAN has a guy who just screams or gets pissed off or has some sort of outrageous reaction to getting killed. Especially getting sniped, or like run over or something. Its like MOFO GET OUT HERE AND FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN!!! and ur like sure BOOM HEADSHOT!

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Soooo, do I get points for being leet?
