Socks again...

So what did everyone get for Christmas? Everything you asked for? A few surprises, or something you'll be taking back to the store tomorrow? You ungrateful bastard.

The stuff most of my family got me is a little different from what I'm used to, (Video games, money/gift cards, etc.) but it's stuff I'll need once Amy and I get our own place, so it's cool. Now we won't have to spend our own money for it. Silverware, plates and bowls, and a "Value Pack" of a toaster, rice cooker and a coffee pot.

From Amy, I got lots of cool stuff. A copy of the RE remake on Gamecube in near perfect condition, City of Heroes/Villains, a box set of the first four Dark Tower books, and this watch.

Amy's parents got us both a picture frame for our wedding pictures, but it got broken somewhere along the line, so we have to return it and get a new one.

My favorite is definitely the Dark Tower books. I'd heard from quite a few people that they were awesome, so I'd been trying to track them down.

We got a pretty cool "present" from the cable company too. When they came to fix our cable, a PC wireless card fell off the back of his truck into our yard. It's a Netgear, which I heard doesn't work with Asus motherboards. It's working fine on mine though, so it's a Christmas miracle. =)

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I asked for a new PC Keyboard, an USB hub and underwear, which I got. I also got some money, gift cards (clothing stores and cinema) and some nice perfumes/deodorants

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I asked for clothes and an electric razor, and I got clothes, an electric razor, some money, and a few gift cards.

I liked how on Sunday I was taken to the mall to pick out my clothes. Fool-proof way to make sure they fit and I like them.

How ya doing, buddy?

I got The Die Hard Collection, Futurama volume 2 which I already have and have to return for a different volume, Clothes, and money.

I never ask for games or most DVDs since I usually buy what I want out of fear that it won't be available later.

I got some stuff for my empty kitchen. Now I have an awesome coffee maker and an even more awesome toaster. I also got Fire Emblem: Radiance of Dawn and Unreal Tournament 3 for my PS3. Never really played UT before so I hope I don't suck too bad at it.

I got a table cloth. I also got Chocolate Pudding.

Other than that, no presents. My 'rents couldn't my Christmas package out in time, and suddenly the postal service in the states decides to jack up the prices so now they have to wait until the New Years at least to send it.

I got pretty good stuff from people this year.
Mum: Gilmore Girls Season 3 on DVD, a scarf and cheap watered down perfume - which smells really good.
Sis: Two books (one of them being Atonement - yay!).
Friends: One more book, a calendar, a necklace, and a gift card for the local cinema.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Mostly money for me. My family's situated all over the U.S., so they send money to save time and hassle. I spent my Christmas with my mom, who gave me money as well as two really nice Oxford shirts.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Clothes (a nice bathrobe and a suit jacket)
Money (as usual)
A lot of gaming-related items (games, DS, etc.)

If you take out all the games and such that I got, it wasn't much of a Christmas, but the DS and everything make for good times.

Seeing as a death of a relitive (bless her) put me up some large amount, most of which is going towords my education and I was alowed £500 to spend as I wished, I ended up geting the Ipod Nano Video and Wii that I had been eyeing around September.

This, of course, left my folks with a rather tricky time in geting me the ol' decemberween gifts.

In the end, I got Super Mario Galexy, which, for all intents was what I was expecting (or not, my Mum said something to the effect that it was like "hens teeth",)

I also got FF7 AC, good times, pool times.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Money, some lollies, and a lottery ticket.

Not bad considering we don't really celebrate it any more and didn't even have a tree up.

Same here. I don't know why I put off getting it for so long, maybe it's because I'm not a huge FFVII fan, but once I found out it had the original Japanese audio I was sold.

I also got new Logitech X-540 speakers for my PC, since my old Klipch's kicked the bucket. Also, it's a tradition for myself that I have to get one console RPG, so I asked for the only one that came out this year I sorta cared about but didn't already buy: Dawn of Mana. Not as terrible as everyone says, but I will say this: at least I didn't have to pay for it. And clothes. Gotta have those. In all, a great Holiday, and I hope everyone else had the same.

I got more than I asked, a Dell Inspiron 1520 Laptop to play my new PC games =D $150 (cause my family is too lazy to know what to get me -- but I can't complain. Better this -way anyways. Gift cards are retarded). But I got one anyways - HMV gift, so I got myself FF7AC ($10), Sweeney Todd OST, and Mario Galaxy. <3 Not a bad christmas if I say so myself.

I will be taking three back probably, but only because I already have them. I hinted about Final Fantasy albums (not the game), and in this year's haul I got them both, as well as the Dresden Doll's second album. Also Pan's Labyrinth, Black Books 3, Hot Fuzz and Reservoir Dogs on DVD, the latter of which I've wanted to watch for years but it was chance I was given it. I never ask directly for things because I'm generally easy to buy presents for.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I was really too "spoiled" this year (not sure if spoiled is the right word)

first at my mom house I got 3 DS games: Choboco Tales, Zelda phantom hourglass and Pokemon Diamond. I got like 6 really awesome shirts, a new winter coat with a beanie and winter gloves that go with the coat. I got the last tome of Harry Potter too and a little game called Rubik's Revolution. Finally 20$ gift card at walmart.

and at my father house I got an HDTV XD

the only thing I did ask in those things was the 3 DS games lol so I was pretty surprise with everything else lol especially the HDTV lol

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Hey, what's with the thread title? I asked for socks! Among other things. And I got socks, too. Wonderful soft plushy socks that feel oh-so-delicious on my footsies. I am happy.

I also got a Swiss Diamond skillet (high-end Teflon-less nonstick cookware that never scratches), a pair of noise-canceling headphones, a Copland CD, a Schoenberg CD, lots of candy and popcorn, and $300.

I am happy.

Two shotglasses, a bottle of vodka, a few books, two polo shirts, two tshirts, some chocolate, some sweets.

I didn't ask for anything, so I figure I could blag a free pair of headphones or a camera lens sometime soon. Also my father hasn't contacted me for months, so maybe I could get some guilt cash out of him.

How ya doing, buddy?

I got 3 nice shirts, a nice pair of black jeans, lots of socks (which I totally love getting because the dog usually eats em up through the year), some "move away from home" stuff (utensils, plates, cutting boards etc), a book with lame and cool jokes and a handful of money. Oh, let me not forget about the obligatory glass candle holders I get from my mom every year. The things I usually want for Christmas are for the most part pretty expensive/or too hard for them to come up with so they give me lots of money instead so I can save up for it and buy it when I can afford it. My relatives don't really mind as it's the thought that matters anyways
