I only got #223, but I'm surprised I'm the only one so far, considering it's from the BEST GAME EVER.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I got #223 as well; didn't know the others.

SimCity DS - Jazz/ambient/electronic music including interesting reworkings of songs from the fantastic SimCity 3000 soundtrack
Cold Winter Original Game Music Score - Really cool; dark, full, emotional strings mixed with drums, piano, choir. Kind of like Furious Angels?

Eep... my perfect Correct Ratio got ruined because I clicked on the wrong link to answer . . . ! D:
Ah well, at least I got two right. I'd be pleasantly surprised if anyone else guesses 224.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I got 173 right IMO, but it was marked wrong. Sent the guy feedback, if he posts here and sees this send me a PM here if you wanna discuss, because its the only one I've gotten "wrong" so far, but it should be right

I don't think he posts here (if he has posted in any version of this thread, he hasn't identified himself), but he seems to be pretty good with that sort of thing; I know someone who's e-mailed him a couple of times about tracks and gotten things sorted out.

Sweet zombie Jesus, I absolutely, positively know #228.

Damn. I'm going to sleep in ten minutes, but this is going to keep me awake in bed all night.

Double Post:
Got it while I was brushing my teeth. Had to boot my computer back up.

Finally, an update I'm good at.

Got #226(My favorite soundtrack of all time), #228, #229 and I KNOW #230 somewhere. It's gonna take me forever to find, but I WILL find it.

#226 is from my favorite soundtrack of all time.

EDIT: Okay, I got #230. If anyone else from here gets this, I will give them a million dollars.

4 out of 5... pretty good

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I got #226, but #228 is driving me nuts. I'm absolutely sure I've heard this piece many times, but I just can't place it.

And we've got ten new tracks. Got #231 (surprised it's a 4 pointer), might know #233 (sounds vaguely familiar, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm confusing it with another track), owned #235 hard, should probably know #237, and got #239 immediately since I totally just listened to a remix of it twenty minutes ago (but I just wiped my Last.fm last played list so NO CHEATS >=O).

11 points comin' up, which'll finally put me over 200. Seeing the people with more than 300 makes me cry.

OCRJudges more liek OCRFGTS.

Also, wow, I'm really slipping behind on my score. But, to be fair, there are a handful of tracks I still haven't guessed on simply because I want to be 100% sure I'm correct, and thus need to verify.

Wish I could listen to the new songs. I can't seem to figure out what my password for that site was; the computer it was saved on kind of crashed last week unfortunately.

Ten new tracks, FINALLY.

#241 eludes me.

I thought #246 was from Alfred Chicken, initially, but I got it in the end.

#249 is not worth three points.

Sure it's not, but I'll take it

Got 241, 244, and of course 249. I have a guess on 246 and I'm 99.999999...% sure I would be wrong just because the game is probably the single most popular game the original GB ever saw (well, other than Tetris) and a track from it would probably not be worth 4 points.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Finally back on my computer, so I was able to download and listen to the songs. Didn't do well at all. Out of 25, I only got 5 of them - 228, 231, 239, 246, and 249.

Argh! I purposely guessed #245 wrong just to get the answer. I can see the level, I know it's an automatically scrolling level in a sidescroller of some sort, thats within another level with a slower version of that song being for the main level, and I'm pretty sure it's for Genesis. So frustrating. I believe the area its played in involves clouds, too.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

10 new tracks today. I'm going through them now. I got 251 but don't know the next three.

EDIT: Got 256 as well. 254 sounds like a certain composer's work, but I'm not sure what game it would be from. Gotta do some digging.

#254 is on my ipod
#251 has a MAJOR hint as its fading out. But which one in the series is it? Edit: Checked NSFs, I got the wrong one in the series.
#256 sounds like Iwadare's take on a certain FF song. (I have no clue what it is, so I'm just speculating)
#257 also sounds Iwadare-ish, again no clue what it is or who REALLY composed it

How ya doing, buddy?

Let's see, this time I got 251, 252, 253 (helped that the music is the best thing about this particular game), 254, and 257, and also going back and filling in 230. Hopefully enough to get back in the top 5, but I'm fine if it's not.

See, this is absolutely,

positively,

WITHOUT A DOUBT,

why I have to listen to the whole song before moving on.

Luckily it's one of the soundtracks in the series I haven't heard, so I only feel 95% ashamed.

Update! There's a new grading system.

In this state it is said to be pending.
Also, 10 new tracks:

#261 seems a bit familiar, although the series my gut is telling me it's from seems too well-known for six points.

#262 and #269 are songs I should get. This quiz has taught me that I'm really rusty on my NES and GB music.

#264 is from a fucking awesome soundtrack.

#266 seems oddly familiar, although, if anything, it sounds more like repeated variations on the intro of a song I've heard before.

And how is #268 possibly worth three points. Dead serious.
