No, no Pang. I said -other- people should get lanterns. Dwarves can see in the dark.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

John Mayer just asked me, personally, through an assistant, to sing backup on his new CD.

So can elves and halflings, and Yarogni has a lantern already (and Daz isn't likely to stray far from Yarogni, for obvious Comedy Foreigner reasons).

Pang, I'm sorry. I should have done this earlier, but I haven't because I'm a stupid person.

As much as I keep telling myself I'll find more time to play this with everyone, as I've found recently, my new job has kept me busy enough and then I play too many vidyas to devote the time to this that it deserves. I still haven't gone through the source books I downloaded to fully understand the systems. And that's unfair to everyone here.

So I'm going to bow out. Consider the character squished in a landslide. If I have time when this reporting quarter is up I'll make a post about it, but it's a bitch move to be gone like this. Sorry.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

OPENING AVAILABLE IN DARK FANTASY MURDERFEST: APPLY WITHIN

You're indoors. No landslide. Kidnapped by vikings.

(No worries. At least you bothered to explain.)

Alright, so my enthusiasm for this has dwindled, and by "this" I mean the whole play-by-post RPG thing in general. I don't have the time or interest to work on this every day (and judging by the fact that I'm pretty much just playing 1-on-1 with Shin much of the time, neither do the rest of you). That nobody at all proposed to fill the empty slots Skills and Cette left is another hint that maybe this thing needs to be put out to pasture.

This isn't to say that I'm throwing GFF roleplaying in the trash altogether, I'd be interested in organizing some kind of occasional live play centered around Skype/G+/Maptools maybe, though I don't know how feasible that is (I also have a terrible germ of an idea I like to call Dungeons & Drink-Ons*); and I'll continue the occasional short-form casual games like Fiasco or Everyone is John that require a lot less investment and rules memorization from players (not that these ever go well but I think it's fun to try).

Three years is still a pretty good run for a PBP campaign!

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Aw, that's a shame but fair enough attention has dwindled. Was fun while it lasted though, thanks for running these so long Pang.

Yeah, I'm sad to see this go, as I was having a lot of fun. But it was basically Shin and I and some tag alongs and then it just fell apart. Balls. I fully support dungeons and drink ons.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I really enjoyed playing and following over the last couple of years, Pang, thanks for running the games. I wanted to post more, but it felt a little silly every time i put together a post that essentially just said, "yeah i follow Shin" to the point where i stopped doing it. It was fun to learn these games, and i've even started a game with some friends around here.

Also, totally up for random live games, assuming i have time.

Thank you for running the games all these years, Pang. It really was one of the best things to happen to GFF in recent years, and it'll be missed.

Might I humbly suggest Warhammer Fantasy Drink-On would be a little easier to handle than Dungeons and Drink-On.

How ya doing, buddy?
