Hi, I have a BSC reject too
  • Album: Asa kara Zusshiri Milkpot SPECIAL ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK
  • Artist: Chibi-Tech (Jaelyn Nisperos)
  • Disc #: 1 (of 1)
  • Track #: 3
  • Track Title: Gaze at my Sour Cream Burrito
  • Catalogue Number: GMCP-1025
  • Year: 2012 (February 14)
  • Additional Info: The choice was between this and G-Land. I went with G-Land because it has more of a Western feel to it, while this is basically a Konami tune (which isn't a bad thing).

Notes:
"The Green Dragon Kingdom (String and Wind Version)" was originally encoded as WMA, because I guess some people still do this? It's been transcoded to MP3 for the usual reasons, but the original file is available in the extras folder.
I guess this is left over from last week and not supposed to be here?

No. It applies to all weeks, equally, forever. Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean it isn't necessary.

I had APC for PHP installed/enabled on the server hosting the SotW Wiki. This is supposed to give automatic performance boosts to any MediaWiki installations (of which SotW Wiki is one). So the Wiki should be more wiki (fast). Just FYI.

I'm the opposite of Draconis -- not one track I particularly loved this week. In fact, I'm going to pull out the rare Shotgun Spread for this one.

(1 point) Terminus Soundtrack Disc - Venetian Ale
(1 point) Hitman: Contracts Original Soundtrack - Slaughter Club
(1 point) Guilty Gear Original Sound Collection - Conclusion (Sol VS Ky Theme)
(1 point) FUTARINO FANTAVISION ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK - moony [advanced] ~ single stage 5, 6
(1 point) DANGANRONPA Original Soundtrack - BOX 16
(1 point) Chronos (ZX Spectrum Game Rip) - Title

You must choose to embrace it. And to embrace it, I have chosen.

3 points: Hitman: Contracts Original Soundtrack - Slaughter Club
2 points: Chronos (ZX Spectrum Game Rip) - Title
1 point: Ogre Battle Image Album: The Entrance - Constellatus
Just missed: Venetian Ale, BOX 16, moony [advanced] ~ single stage 5, 6 [planetasia], Pyrite Town

2 points: Slaughter Club
2 point: moony [advanced] ~ single stage 5,6 [planetasia]
1 point: Constellatus
1 point: BOX 16
Just Missed: Title

For a 1993 track from a Japanese image album, the narration in Constellatus is pretty legit. Then the dude started singing and my heart exploded. Whatever, it's still 6 minutes of Matsuo prog'n, it's impossible to go wrong with that.

Really interesting week. Loved the Fantavision track. Made me go back and listen to the other Fantavision tunes why the hell didn't I support them as much during their weeks.

Should be prime for BSC tomorrow night.

How ya doing, buddy?

Quick votes:

(2 points) Terminus Soundtrack Disc - Venetian Ale

(2 points) Chronos (ZX Spectrum Game Rip) - Title

(1 point) FUTARINO FANTAVISION ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK - moony [advanced] ~ single stage 5, 6 [planetasia]

(1 point) DANGANRONPA Original Soundtrack - BOX 16

Er, I suppose the SotW/SotF schedule might be pushed back with the BSC, as with previous years?

And here's a new nomination:

* Album Title: Men of War: Vietnam Original Soundtrack Promo
* Artist: Frey "MoozE" Vladimir
* Track Title: The Psychedelic Soldier
* Source: http://www.game-ost.com/albums/6522/...ndtrack_promo/
* File Location: Nominations folder
* Disc Number: 1 (of 1)
* Track Number: 3
* Catalogue Number: NA
* Year: 2011

There's nowhere I can't reach.
I think therefore I am... I think.

Oh hey, time to participate in the only musical contest currently taking place on Gamingforce. Some votes or nominations or something would be pretty swell I think.

2 points: FUTARINO FANTAVISION ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK - moony [advanced] ~ single stage 5, 6 [planetasia]
2 points: Hitman: Contracts Original Soundtrack - Slaughter Club
1 point: Chronos (ZX Spectrum Game Rip) - Title
1 point: Ogre Battle Image Album: The Entrance - Constellatus
slick: BOX 16, Pyrite Town, Venetian Ale

Hey this week was great. Really wanted to give points to BOX 16 to support Masafumi Takada for once in my life, but there aren't enough points to make that happen.

When are we having a Jesper Kyd week? As a wonderful byproduct we could also bill it as Epic Proportions II.

Hahahahahaha Constellatus. I love this album so much. Should've nominated 22 minutes of Matsuo prog'n though, maybe next time.

Votes may not happen right away because I am already drastically behind in some other lesser-known music contest and I have other busy things to attend to. But I can throw out a nom!

Album: I AM NOT A DJ
Artist: DJ Mass Mad Izm*
Track #: 12
Track Title: The End
Source: LC-1922 | I AM NOT A DJ - VGMdb
Additional Info: I will nominate every damn track from this amazing album if I have to.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Also, Pyrite Town gets chopped up by the flash player because of the 32 kHz sample rate.

Awesome! History has been made this day!

I have a couple lined up, so I hope that's not the the end of it.

Now this is what you'd call fair results, unlike that other thing which isn't happening.

OOPS I missed this because I was a stupid. Oh well. I'm pretty sure that the way I was planning to vote wouldn't have actually affected which ones made the top 3 anyways.
