Neat sig!

It'll be good, but IMO nothing really that great to anticipate. Chicks dig pirates, so I'll be able to talk a girl to the theater! ZOMG yay! As long as they follow it with intentions of a bad-ass pirate story line and not the lovelife crap, I'll be pleased.

Im also looking foward to this movie. I remember seeing the trailor months ago (somewhere on GFF I believe) and I've been waiting ever since. I believe the release date is sometime this July or August if I am not mistaken.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

The first movie is one of my favorite movies of all. time. ever. I'm not gonna hold this next one up to such high standards, but it should be a blasty blast.

I'm very much looking forward to this film, but like others I'm a little worried if it might stack up well to the first. At the very least, I hope it doesn't "pull a Matrix".

You gotta see the 2nd trailer. It is soooo frigging awesome.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CDq-...0caribbean%202

There are better quality than this, but the load is horrible.

I think this would be the best movie this summer. It would be even better that superman (which I think would be gay) and X3.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Just prooves he can play all manner of roles. Stack him in Love Actually, Shaun of the Dead, and now this up against each other, and you have one versitile actor.

I'm so excited for this movie, but it looks like i'll have to see it the day after it comes out. I'm away the day it comes out, but back the next.

Here's hoping this one stacks up to the origional.

Wow, trailer 2 is the bomb!

-Squidbeard: "Summon the Kraken!"

::Giant Kraken rips ship apart with tentacles::

That alone is worth seeing the movie for. I don't know if I like these new mutant creatures. It's like a bad version of the X-men or something. "Squidbeard! Sharkface! The Blowfish head! Wolverine!"
Actually Squidbeard (Davey Jones?) is kinda cool.

I watched the first POTC, but I wasn't really that into it. However after watching the trailer, I'm really excited! Now, I've never seen a Davy Jones photo or even a drawing of what he might look like, but seeing how he is some kind of squid pirate in the movie; that's pretty neat! The second reason why I want to see POTC 2 is because the story focuses more on Captain Jack Sparrow than Bloom's character (forgot the name). So yay

Blasphemer!!!

I think that the effects on this one is the best so far. I thought that the first movie's effects was already phenomenal (remember the switching of flesh to bones under the moonlight) but this one tops everything. I really like it the they made everything very details especially the beard tentacles the moves individually.

I just think that the most badass scene is when Davy Jones is playing the organ. I just like bad guys playing the organ!!

HARDCORE!!!

Did anyone else read the early script review for POTC2?
Spoiler:
Are you disappointed with Jack dying in this one? I admit, it sounds like an interesting premise having only Jack's ghost for part three.

The first one is overrated in my opinion. It was a fun movie, but not exactly the classic that some people seem to take it for. Anyways, the trailers for this one seems o.k. at best, I'm personally not expecting much.

I agree that while the first one's not an incredible and timeless classic, it was a very pleasant surprise. I did not expect it to be as good as it was.(Especialy when you take into consideration how dull and lame the actual ride is at Disneyland). Anyway, I'm definately looking forward to the sequel. Hopefuly it'll offer that fun sense of adventure that the first one was full of.
(Oh and besides, you get Orlando Bloom and Jonny Depp in one film! I couldn't possibly not see a film with that kind of eye candy)

Fuckedy fuck fuck! TENTACLES! TENTACLES!
I love this movie already!

No, seriously, it seems to be what a Bruckheimer movie should be like. Pure entertainment and action ride. Plus, it also seems to be what I'd call a more or less perfect sequel, having all the good stuff the first part had, but doing it even better and having MORE of what made the first part good.
Great Diesel, I am SO pumped for this movie.
