10th style was just the distraction to hold us over, for now arguably the best IIDX style is on its way to the PS2! (I think Happy Sky is the best, but a lot of people think otherwise).

IIDX RED CS for the PS2 was officially announced in a Konami newsletter on February 21, 2006. Release date is May 18th, 2006.

* More than 80 songs, including all 52 from IIDX RED AC (this apparently includes the three 8th CS crossover songs because that would make the total 52)
* New songs from the arcade staff
* Score graph function is included, and it also mentions something about compatibility with existing memory card saves you have (possibly importing old scores from songs from previous styles?)
* You can apparently copy up to 5 other peoples' score data on to your memory card and use them as "rival" data for the score graph

I pre-ordered my copy less than 5 minutes after I got the e-mail from Play-Asia. Anyone else as stoked as I am about this one? I'm still on my "Wow" factor from 10th Style, but I can't WAIT to play Ageha, Scorpion Fire, and AA.

was suprised to see that Toxic had an Another chart
(rated as a 7 Star). Why wasn't it in BM US??

Graphics look sharp, and i love how the columns

I am not disappointed at all. While some songs I don't like (Gigadelic, Go Berserk), there are some AWESOME songs on the style. Red Zone, Car of your Dreams, and Fly Away to India are my three favorite when-did-these-songs-start-existing songs.

The interface is also cool-looking, but it'll be blown away once Happy Sky comes out. *hugs his Happy Sky hard drive files*

Though I do not play the beatmania games i am a fan of the music. I bought the RED soundtrack from Japan when I was there last summer.

I gotta say ever since then i have been hooked on the music, my favs from that album would probably be Rok Da World and Night Flight to Tokyo.

Haha, what an impossible pain in the butt that song is. Even the easy parts are hard, and the ending is just pure madness.

Fake Time 7k is also quite ridiculous for a 7k song. Fairly standard stuff for a minute and a half, then 20 seconds of death.

On random, Gigadelic 7k usually becomes much easier to clear, because then you don't have that roll in such an awkward place. Using random, it's the only 12 I can clear with a decent rate.
