Wasting internets downloading a movie where some goon swings the camera around and the person in front swings their arms around madly spilling an endless supply of popcorn during the whole thing? It'd be much less taxing to download a 20kb JPEG of horse shit for the same end result.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I've never downloaded any English movies before. I prefer seeing them at a theatre and then waiting for the DVD release. I'm a bit more likely to download movies that I know wouldn't be released in the U.S. with maybe one or two exceptions.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

It's not like anyone would care about a R rating anyway if most places are anything like the movie theater we have around here.

Anyway, I rarely watch movies, and when I do I expect decent quality. So I don't download what Infernal Monkey describes so much better than I could ever hope to.

It depends on the movie for me. I would rather see it in theater for the experience, if I like the movie enough I will download it and then buy the DVD when comes out.

I just downloaded Snakes on a Plane I don't care about the quality, I live fairly far from the nearest theater so I don't go see alot of movies there. I usually just download the cam version first then download the DVD rip when it comes out if I liked the movie.

I've only really downloaded movies that either have already been released for DVD, or ones that never get shown in our theaters (ie. Advent childern).

... no, the people who taped the video have a better chance of getting in trouble, it is really hard to catch people who have downloaded a movie because they don't know who downloaded it.

They can, but how would anyone know if it was you who downloaded the movie, or you friend, or dad? They really don't care anyways. I don't really know who this "they" I'm talking about is, but I'm pretty sure they don't care about you, instead they go after the source as stopping one person sharing is easier than stopping thousands of downloaders.

But yea, that was the only time I tried it, ill just wait for DVD rips.

I downloaded a DVDRIP of Silent Hill a week ago. Guess it got leaked. Other than that, it's been a while. Nothing's been worth the download as of late.

I never used to but I just dled clerks 2 and talledega nights, and even though the quality was well, to be expected crap it was better than spending 12 dollars on both movies.

I used to watch these type of movies in the theaters but now that everyone I used to hang out with has a job or is just plain busy I don't go out much anymore.

The only movies that I get are Asian films. They're really good quality because it's a DVD Rip that someone had uploaded to the net.

I don't do it. I don't have the hard drive space to even download any kind of movies. Plus, with movies, I usually watch them once and that is it, unlike with music, which I listen to numerous times. I wouldn't just be sampling movies and getting them later, I'd just watch them and that would be it. So, no, I probably wouldn't even if I could.

I've downloaded movies that were still in theaters a few times, but this was almost 4 years ago. Though sometimes a decent quality screener DVD for a current movie will show up and I might grab that. Nowadays I just download entire DVDs of movies that already got released on DVD, but even this I haven't done for a while.

Not usually. Quality is crap, and within a little while, I figure to myself, if I wait about one month, a better version will come out. Of course, it also depends on how badly I want to see it.

I don't have the patience to download a ~700 mb low quality screener. Besides, most movies these days aren't worth downloading, and if I really like to see a movie, I'd wait until my library picks it up and then I'd go check it out from there, which doesn't take much effort, and it's free. And if I really, really like it, I'd just make a copy easy on my comp.
