knk, I'd love that, thanks. I'm just getting into Air as of... roughly, this week - so yeah, I'd enjoy listening to more Air.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Thanks for those other Tin Hat Trio records, MetheGelfing. I really enjoyed the first one. It reminded me of the Waking Life soundtrack.

Two big uploads, the first from me in a long while. The first is a series of Grandaddy albums; fans of previous albums I've uploaded will enjoy these a lot. Second is another series of albums by a post-rock band I only recently discovered, Under Byen. Anyone who liked the post-rock uploading binge that occurred awhile back will really enjoy this group.

That being said, if anyone has any albums from these two artists I didn't upload, could you please upload them? I would really, really like that.

How ya doing, buddy?

Another upload, quickly succeeded my prior one. This time you all have the pleasure of listening to the stunning score for Pan's Labyrinth. Give it a listen. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Whoah shit, I didn't even see that there was a discussion thread here!!!

Hey MetheGelfing, I'd love to hear that record you posted, but savefile.com is giving me some real shit - we're talking <1kbps download speeds. Any chance of getting it upped at a different filehost?
Dude, did you ever get that album? Lemme know if you need me to put it on another page. And glad you're enjoying Tin Hat Trio. I picked them up a few weeks ago from a buddy and was blown away.

Admiral Awesome, those Mogwai albums are a great find.

Yo, thanks for Pan's Labyrinth Capo!!!

I was speaking idiomatically.

Thanks for the offer, but the site came through for me a few hours later without any difficulties. Great post.

Schadenfreude's baaaaaaacck ^___^

I'm grabbing that crazy-ass album you uploaded as we speak, Schad. It certainly looks like an adventure.

Moon, sweet deal with that Goddamn Electric Bill upload. I like what I've heard from them, and now I'll have the whole album. Huzzah.

I have a good deal of the Tzadik catalog, so just give a shout if you ever want to give any of it a listen. I honestly don't think that label has or will ever release a bad album.

A lot of the stuff filed under the "lunatic fringe" and "new japan" sections on the Tzadik website interest me greatly...

OMG, loving the Naked City album. So delicious.

Is that Mike Patton on vocals?

Though Patton does do quite a bit of work with Zorn, the vocals in Naked City (as well as Painkiller) are done by Yamataka Eye of the Boredoms. He's also a fairly renowned visual artist, creating the Boredoms cover art as well as a working with a handful of other artists, probably his most famous being Beck's Midnite Vultures.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

BTW, I (re-?)uploaded Merzbow's "Pulse Demon" for Draz, and am uploading Naked City's "Heretic, Jeux des Dames Cruelles".

I loved The Boredoms album I had a while ago, but it's long since lost to the ages.

Sadly, they are hard to find. Those vocals are amazing though, absolutely delightful. If I can find Boredoms stuff... well, it would make me happy.

Oh yeah, and thanks to Schadenfreude for the Merz upload. <3

Looking forward to that Naked City. I got their self-titled album a while ago, maybe I should upload that.

uploaded Merzbow's "Pulse Demon"
This is my favorite Merzbow release, other than maybe one or two of the Merzbox discs.
