Alternate Dimension address!

The weirdest thing is happening to me. I clicked on the Serious Business link in my bookmarks, which took me to the new forums. When I logged in and went to my control panel, though, it was like somehow I slipped back into the old forums, and I couldn't see any new threads. I wasn't in the archive forum, it was as if I had just...reverted to Serious Business.

I kept trying through different links to see if it would fix by itself, and eventually it did, when I clicked on the link from google. When I tried to post this thread, though, it kicked me back to Serious Business.

If I had to guess why it happened, it might be because my screen name and password were the same for both servers. Maybe it's making the new server confused?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

The DNS is still propagating, so until it's settled down you might get unpredictable results.

You could try logging into and posting on GFF with this URL:
http://72.36.219.91/forums/

Once the mass e-mail is sent to all of the members, I believe the gamingforce.org domain will be removed anyway. Not entirely sure.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

It's gamingforce.com that can be removed ... ;-)

Alternatively, let's just grab that .com domain once it expires. Bobo won't even notice.

How ya doing, buddy?

Which exact day in August does it expire?

Thank god for Sass. If you think hard enough you'll probably remember what hour it happens.

If I'm not mistaken, though, bobo is the only one that gets a crack at re-registering it. Then it goes into a holding phase by eh, the domain register for a holding period.

I know for my domain, I forgot to re-register it and it expired then they wanted me to pay an ungodly amount to get it back, then some ad website took it over for a while.

I'm sure someone more savvy to this type of stuff could clarify, though.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Gamingforce.org is Serious Business again? What's going on?

DNS shit, maybe?

EDIT: The two newest posts in the Banned Members thread link to an invalid topic.

Kirby, your text is kind of hard to read.

Also, yeah, the DNS is being wacky. Here at school I had to get the IP address.

Kirby, using red to post is almost as fucking dumb as using this color.

My text color was supposed to reflect my current image theme, but I've thought about scrapping it earlier. Guess I'll do that after this post. =I We're getting off the subject though.
