Itouch Question
My g/f brother has an Itouch and it says that "Ipod is disabled"
I was thinking of using "Jailbreak" but from what I'm reading, i have to be able to get into the Ipod in the 1st place in order to use Jailbreak. I can't even get into the ipod menu.. That's all i see. I was wondering if anyone has an idea what I can do to fix this. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Hm, for once Google was unhelpful. A restore might be your only option.
Updating and restoring iPhone and iPod touch software There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I'll try that.. Thank you. Yeah, I tried to google it as well.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
What caused that to happen? And wow...it's unclear, but 4 million minutes? I did the calculations and it seems he won't be able to try again for another EIGHT YEARS. The internal battery that holds the time would give out before then (or if it's the regular battery, I wonder what would happen when syncing it with a computer whose time and date is eight years later). Anyway...
I did some searching and found this: iPod Touch is disabled for 2605 Minutes. Any way to fix it? - iPod - iPhone - iTunes Forums at iLounge Check it out. It may help you. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

That's a good question.. I might try that out just for a quick laugh..
I'm not sure what caused it to happened.. It's my g/f's brother. I think he bought it off someone else.. I talked to a couple ppl and they informed me that Apple has fone a way of bricking their own products if someone tries to unlock it or jailbreak it but fails. I was speaking idiomatically. |
