Well, it's not like I'm impressed after listening to those samples, but overall I'd say that they are pretty good. All in all it offers anything you expect of a Halo soundtrack, but nothing more. However, I'm pleased that there isn't any mainstream shit and just the good old epic Halo tracks.

These are more like what I enjoyed from Halo 2, not the crap rock music, which I hardly heard much of in the game and isn't why I remember it so fondly in the first place. So is this album already out? It says you can already download the tracks so I presume it is, but it might be a net-first, record-shop later thing.

The official in-store release date is the 25th, but I think you can purchase and download it online.

AHHHHHHH, Drakken! Thank you so much for pointing this out! I had no idea you could get it online already! I just bought it and all of the stem remix thingies just for the fun of it. GOD, it's so good. Unyielding gets me so hyped up it's ridiculous.
