Two really nice deals I got:
  • Firefly the Complete Series normally goes for about $49.99, but I got it new for $25.00 on Amazon.com
  • Another nice deal was a 40GB Creative Zen Touch for $99, which is normally double that price or more. However there's a catch: It was refurbished and I recently dropped it once on accident and now some of the buttons don't work properly

I'm sure I've done a few more shrewd deals closer to what you guys said, but that's all I can think of at the moment.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I've gotten some OK stuff for cheap. A bunch of camera this ($20 olympus XA, $80 contax T2 etc); amanda woodward 10" for $6 (a sort of pricey record); marantz receiver for $40; first print of Murakami's Tony Takitani for $20, blah blah blah

How ya doing, buddy?

Not me, but my friend. She got a Sony VAIO laptop (150GB HD, 1GB RAM) for $500, and it came with a carrying bag, which happened to be less reliable than a paper bag, and a nice scanner/printer. I only got the laptop for that amount. PSHPSH.

FFXII Collector's Edition: $15 mint condition. Probably cheaper online, but I haven't checked.
The Office Season 2?: $6 New
Yu-Gi-Oh! for GBA: 15 cents. HAHA.

Yeah, I don't get too many uber-bargains. =[

Hm, some good deals I had were:

Three Tombstone Pizza's for 5 bucks. Many times it costs four to five bucks for ONE Tombstone Pizza.
What about FOUR for $5? Epic. <3 I do prefer Tombstone over Pizza Hut anyways.

Yesterday, I picked up three years of Xbox Live Gold for about £30. The store I work in just had them lying around, so when I saw them, I just snatched them up like candy.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Season 1 of The Twilight Zone - New. Retailed for $100 when I got it - I bought it for $5 after coupons and a return.

I purchased a while back a complete set of turntables, a high-end mixer, and a pair of monitor speakers for the price of $2,675 on Ebay. When the merchandise arrived, I found out the equipment was actually factory sealed and brand new. The two CDJ turntables retail each at around $2,000 and the mixer itself is about $3,500. The monitor speakers themselves were amazing and powerful.

Overall, the equipment would go for around $9,000 give or take, but the fact that it all worked perfectly, was mostly untouched, and was a save in my wallet, definitely made me feel that I had gotten my money's worth (if not more with the luck).

This Sonic single thing. Apparantly there are very few copies. Got it for a few Guilders (before the Euro came around).

Zelda: PH for the NDS. It was half price at Circuit City. GIven that Zelda: TP for the Gamecube has not gone down in the y ear or so it has been around, it's pretty cool to have gotten this game for a decent price.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Civilzation 3 Gold Edition (original and multiplayer expansion) from Sam's Club = $16.83

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
