Look at my drawlings!!!
I haven't posted in here in forever, but here's a quick sample of crap I've been doing somewhat recently.
I'm gonna throw some spoiler tags on here cause there's some naked underneath. Spoiler:

Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I like the second one, great prespective and foreshortening!! Nice line work too.
The first one...looks like a semi blind drawing to me...is it? There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Dude, where the fuck have you been? Nice to see you back, man.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
ouch, yeah on the first one, i think i was stoned and decided to get stylistic. The 2nd one is conte crayon about 20-30mins. I kinda screwed up on the hand... i hate chicks with man hands, and the composition is a little cramped on the right side.
vemp! sup buddy? yeah i haven't posted in here for awhile. I've been busy doing crap for school lately, but i was compiling some stuff for a portfolio and figured that i'd drop in. Most amazing jew boots |
I like the second one a lot. I especially like the shading on the torso area. Keep up the good work. I always enjoy seeing your pieces, particularly the ones with color. I don't quite have a knack for color.
Most amazing jew boots |
Thanks for the comments guys. Here's one more that I didn't like as much. My line weight isn't as definite as it should be. It's just not clean.

If you're doing chalk/crayon drawings, I think the emphasis is on line work, but rather tonal and mass properties. You seemed to have nailed it there.
FELIPE NO |
Thanks man. I dunno though, I feel like I should nail the line work every time at this point. As long as I've been drawing, I don't have an excuse.
Oh, funny thing too... Y'know, Paul Andrus the figure drawing teacher? He was so upset by the fact that I didn't enter anything in the student show. He actually found me around campus yesterday just to tell me how disappointed he was that I didn't put anything in. Did you put up anything? How ya doing, buddy? |
I like the first one, very Egon Schiele
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Yeah I put two things one. One is a digital painting of guitarist Jeff Loomis and the other is a shot of a zombie model which I modeled in Maya. You should've put something in, it could liven up the area a bit. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I find the second one very beautiful. I find the shading very smooth and is applied in all the right places. The body is very accurate as well, much more than the first one.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Thanks Vivi! Yeah, the first one is meant to be a little off. The anatomy is obviously distorted. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Oh cool. Can you still get stuff put up there? I thought the deadline had passed.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
I thought it had too, but apparently, Paul pulled some strings or whatever and they let me submit some stuff. If you wanted to put in anything else, I'm sure that you could. In a way, I just think it's cool to have large digital prints of my stuff. I wonder if the school will just keep them when they're done, or it they'll let me have them.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
that's really detailed. I congratulate you on your use of what I believe to be charcoal drawings. and if I'm wrong on the type of drawings, congrats anyway on excellent work
FELIPE NO You know what? you just might be full enough of shit to apply for congress |
Thanks man. Yeah, they're actually conte crayon which is more waxy that charcoal. It doesn't smudge as much, but you can still turn the stick sideways to stroke in the values.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Good Chocobo |
God, I love how much information you can accomplish with so little shading/linework. The third drawing for example, her face is very impressive. I really admire the way you can simplify the shadows and not get too bog down in detail. That's something I need to work on cause a lot of my drawings always end up unfinished. I also liked how you gave the piece some depth in the second one with the dark background.
I think your line work is fine, however, it seems too defined in the more "realistic" drawings. How about trying to get some more line variation like in the first drawing? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Here's something that I finished just a few mins ago. It's kinda out there compared to the normal stuff that I do.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Awesomely clever. :3 I love the textures and the mark making. Did you plan this out? How long did it took? :3
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Thanks Seris! |
HAHA! Thanks Magi! Acutally I didn't have any of it planned at all. It started off as a doodle in the upper left hand corner and then I just went nuts. I decided that i "couldn't make a mark that was wrong" and just kept going. I drew some inspiration from some random pictures that were on my screen saver slideshow. I took some random shapes from different objects, and repeated them into patterns to get different textured effects. I started it lastnight, and finished up ealier this evening. Collectively, it took me about an hour and a half or two hours. It's definitely different than most of the stuff I've done, so I'm really glad that somebody else enjoyed it!
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Its an interesting piece for people to lose them self in, that's for sure. Its actually pretty fun just to stare at it, following the patterns as one form change into another. Although I always thought people did like meticulous planning for stuff like this. I don't remember being able to do anything spontaneous and look this organized.
I was speaking idiomatically.

excellently done, what basis do you use behind your drawings? kind of seems like anthromorphism Most amazing jew boots You know what? you just might be full enough of shit to apply for congress |
I don't have a basis as you describe it. I just draw crap that I like. There aren't any dilberate themes or anything.
FELIPE NO |
I think he meant to say acid.

That Donkey drawing is fantastic.
