Back in Time - Sanxion (Hubbard) Nice, exuberant techno licks. Wish there was more melody and less of that theremin-style stuff though.

Bless Arrange Album 'Flavory' - BEST FEELING! -spinash mix- The aggressive backbeats sort of ruin this one; they don't fit with the rest of the song very well. The stereo effects were a little annoying too, and made the song feel gimmicky.

Galactic Storm ~The Eye's Memory~ - PROTMIND ~THEME~ It has its moments, but is kind of mushy--too long and too eclectic to really hold together well.

Metal Slug Complete Sound Box - Atmospheric discharge (Stage 06 -Flyer-) Very energetic and engaging; I especially liked the stutterstop effect at the beginning and at the loop.

Muchi Muchi Pork! Original Soundtrack - Iza Iza Main Dish! (Stage 5) Nowhere near as bouncy or sickly sweet as you'd expect from something with an exclamation mark in the title. A little flat melodically, but very enjoyable overall.

PRINCESS WALTZ Original Sound Track - Heavy Fog Started out pretty dull, and had some pretty big dry spots, but when things got cooking it wasn't half bad.

Shooting Love 2007 Soundtrack CD - Eternal Traveler -full version- Pretty decent vocal track with nice techno backing and a low-key performance.

Trackmania United Forever (Game Rip) - Menus Starts promisingly, but then doesn't really go anywhere.

Generally we allow any music that was specifically written for a game, which includes amateur games. So, if it's a new piece for the game, and not just a track that was taken from something else, then it's fine.

I go back and forth between the stage 2 and 5 themes from MMP as my favorite, and Iza Iza Main Dish has been an on-again-off-again nomination of mine for a while, so I'm glad someone nominated it so I don't have to make that decision. I love the melody and some of the writing, and the flaws only add to the charm.

I think I prefer the original Thalamusik, truth be told. Still a great tune, though.

Iza Iza Main Dish is definitely one of the less sugary themes on Muchi Muchi Pork. While I prefer Hamu Hamu Pepper to this, this easily comes in second place for me. It's a nice departure from the rest of the soundtrack.

The rest of the songs were hit or miss for me, although there were a few notable ones.

Aghhhhh, Eternal Traveler. I'm still baffled at it's inclusion in Exzeal, and as a Stage 5 theme no less, considering it's just a vocal version of the stage 4 theme in the previous game Trizeal, which came out almost 3 years earlier! The vocal version isn't even original, it was featured in the [urlhttp://vgmdb.net/album/6910]Trizeal bonus disc[/url] 2 years ago. I don't know. Can't complain about the song itself, though.

I'm liking the drum programming in Best Feeling, along with how the string pads and the keyboard alternate for some ungodly reason.

PROTMIND ~THEME~ is just so ridiculously cool, it would probably get more points if the solo at 3:28 wasn't completely bonkers.
