That's Nintendo strategy.

There's a skateboard - interesting, because it was a feature slated for the original games.
Online functionality plays a bigger part this time around.
FR/LG-style cutscenes will be shown when entering a new area for the first time.
US trademarks have been filed for Pokémon Heart Gold and Pokémon Soul Silver.

Those are some cool new stuff. can't wait to see those cut-scenes.
