Sure, there won't be any fundamental changes to the core gameplay; they're just not going to risk making major changes to something that has been so successful for them. But these smaller changes that they're making along the edges look interesting at the very least. I like the idea of several types of point streaks to help include the players who aren't necessarily Rambo-ing through matches. It's nice that they're opening up a reward system for players who play a more support style role. If they had the support strike package during CoD4, Mo0 would have had air support in the sky non-stop.

Weapon proficiency is one of the things I'm really looking forward to. Generally speaking, once I try out all of the guns, I usually end up with four or five that I really like and will just stick with them, so the idea of using a gun and getting the opportunity to tweak it a bit is nice.

I'm hoping it will be a little more tactical than Black Ops was though. Give me a little bit of tall grass to lay in please.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I'm not really feeling many of the maps, to be honest. They all play really cramped, which makes my life difficult considering my preferred style of play* (and my less than ideal ping). As a result, I think the game plays a little more like Black Ops than MW2. I will say that the pointstreaks seem fairly balanced though. It doesn't really remind of me of the MW2 days where a couple minutes into the match, air support shows up, never leaves for the rest of the game, and reaps dozens of kills.

Nice to see that the SCAR-L and the UMP45 are still very good, and I'm getting close to unlocking my good friend, the G36c. Using it a little in the default class, I can tell it is going to be a good one too.

*by "preferred style of play", I mean "slow reaction time and poor gun skills"

There's nowhere I can't reach.

It turns out that the G36C is everything I was hoping it would be, and the ACR is in the same class. I like them both.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Yeah, that's the one. In MW2 it was a super accurate bullet hose, the gun for everyone who had a red tiger G36C in CoD4. This time around (and this is just me having 100 ACR kills and 350 G36C kills), they are more or less interchangeable.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

Well, from a multiplayer perspective, MW3 feels more like Black Ops than MW2. It is like they got Treyarch to do the maps or something. Actually, it is kind of like they got Treyarch to handle all of the multiplayer, it feels that much similar to Black Ops.

Now Spec Ops, however, is awesome. Crimson and I are almost halfway through the missions on veteran, and it has been really fun. Probably my favorite part of the game.

I was speaking idiomatically.
