[General Discussion] Recent Game Purchases, or what I bought instead of fourteen new dildos this weekend

I bought a cheap used PS3 and Valkyria Chronicles. Though, so far I've barely played the game. I played through a rented copy of GhostBusters and am currently letting a friend use it to play through MGS4.

I bought Meta Gear Solid 2 used for PS2. It's the collector's edition that includes a documentary. Nice.

I finally got myself a PS3. Best Buy had a bundle that came with MGS4 and Killzone 2. I also got Little Big Planet.

Finally bought Valkyria Chronicles and LOVIN' IT. Bought Bionic Commando for $20 from Gamestop and Blue Dragon for $10 from Newegg.

Looking at finishing up my PS3 need-to-buy list soon with Ratchet & Clank Future and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. I'm on the fence about Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 but they're possibilities. Then I can catch up on all the years I didn't have a 360.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I bought Prince of Persia, Wheelman, Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. and Persona 3 FES for $20 each. Though FES was only 15.

Just ordered Guitar Hero Greatest Hits and Dead Rising, both on 360 from the GAME website. GH was £25 new and DR £14, also new. I never had DR before but always wanted to play it and figured I'd pick it up before it goes out of print. Guitar Hero is a birthday gift for the missus (Sort of, was a good excuse to get it anyway).

Picked up BlazBlue a while back and I'm having a blast with it. Game looks so beautiful.

Recent purchases include all 3 Prince of Persia games, Shinobi and its sequal Nightshade, both the first and second Devil May Cry games, Tomb Raider Legend, and Anniversary edition, and finally, Genji. -_-" and yes they're all for my PS2 -_^

Ace pick. Controls for shooting can be a bit off (they're RE4, really) and escorting NPCs can be a chore (when is it not), but other than that, it's absolute gold. PERFECT setting, superb visuals, animation, black humor and a slew of disturbing bosses and psychopats to fend off. Oh and dozens of weapons, I guess.

Awesome run at a game store here in Jersey. Managed to find a copy of Grandia for the PSX. Even though it's missing the instruction booklet, the discs are in amazing condition and I picked it up for 30 bux.

I downloaded Sass Princess today and last week my dad got me Monster Hunter Freedom Unit for the PSP. Monster Hunter is pretty cool since you can have a cat fight with you when you aren't playing with other people.

When I was in San Diego I picked up Futurama (PS2), Xenosaga 2 (It was 10 bucks), Blood Will Tell (PS2) and Golden Sun the Lost Age (GBA).

Just the other night I went down to Bookman's, local used goods store, just to browse around and what did I find there? Shining Force III complete! It was $100 but I thankfully traded in so many video games and action figures into the place that I had more than enough to cover the cost of it. I also picked up Automobili Lamborghini for the N64. That game was not $100.

Found this guy today. Apparently it was part of a shipment of crap from a store that closed down, so I snatched it up. 20 bucks new.



I was at first thinking of keeping him in the packaging, but a) the box was in terrible shape, and b) I remembered the existence of a Metal Slime controller, which would likely stunt any sort of growth in value this might have.

last game i purchased is called the path... the game seemed more like a beta test for something bigger but enough gameplay to sell itself as is.

it's an alternate take - twisted/dark/goth version - on little red riding hood (one of my fav choldhood story). think american mcgee's alice <- another game i absolutely love!

the game is only availiable from online purchases fairly cheep i think. got the MAC version.

Went and bought the "retail version" of MvC2 with some store credit I had from cancelling the CE of Batman. Fuckers didn't tell me it would be $100. Too much for a plastic batarang.

Anyway, I'm not the least bit interested in the Marvel Digital Comics subscription, so if anyone wants the code, shoot me a PM.

FUCK YES R: RACING YOU ARE SO GARBAGE. Came across this at the local pawn shop. PAL version includes Pac-Man VS. though, which is the only reason I bought it. Such an awesome game.

Picked up Metroid Prime Trilogy the other day, and so far it's been good. I can handle getting three games for the price of one. Controls are taking some time to get used to, though.

Just came back from town and saw Target had Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for $15 on 360. :gank:

Also Lawl-mart had Rock Band 2 for $99. Figured "why not". Nothing better to break in the new house than throw a Rock Band 2 party with my friends.
