Super Metroid

Hey, was there ever a better version of the Super Metroid OST, from a rip or otherwise? I remember the soundtrack CD having various issues, like tracks getting cut short. Thanks.

How ya doing, buddy?

You could always just make a rip from the SPC files. I don't recall anything specifically wrong with the OST, though I never fully checked.

Yeah, it's not very good. Some tracks fade out before the song is completely over, other songs don't fade out at all, and the NES part of the disc actually has game sounds going on in the background. It was a pretty bad mess, all things considered.

But yeah, you can simply make your own rip from the SPC files.

While we're on the topic, where's a good place to go for SPC files anymore? It looks like Zophar took their files down, and OCremix only has certain games, as far as I know.

Question answered in another thread, heh

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
