There is indeed a Symphonic Suite for Dragon Quest VIII:
http://www.gamemusic.com/cgi-bin/Web...d=1005&did=101

A little back-story...this album was recorded before the localization process, per Koichi Sugiyama's normal habit. When the English version was considered, someone had the idea to use the Orchestral music in-game, much as what happened with the DQV remake.

Of course, since it was all medleys and arrangements, I bet the process of breaking up these pieces and trying to loop them wasn't easy. (I've tried this for my own benefit.) But they did a great job.

has anyone done rip from these PSX games?
-Dragon Seeds (Jaleco) (all music are .XA)
-Ogre Battle PSX (there are some .XA channels)
-Cowboy Bebop (all music are .XA <3)

If nobody hasnt done it... please put in the request list, I'm just getting my old PSX collections and I will probably rip them in the future. I would like to request Pocket Fighter (PSX) as well.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

The Mr. Methane CD, purchased over ebay for .01¢. Yeah, free shipping. This guy performs all sorts of neat stuff, including the doot doot, doot doot from the Blue Danube.

Allow me to share a track from this CD. Here ya go.

I'm sorry, I know that's WAY off topic but that's what I'm gonna think about anytime I hear "Ridge Racer" from now on. Added.

Shouldn't be. This was true for MGS2: Substance and Shadow the Hedgehog (ugh). I don't know why someone would change music just because of a different platform.

Added. Now I could've sworn I saw Ogre Battle somewhere on the FTPs, but I might also be thinking Tactics Ogre or something like that...or it could've been Ogre Battle for another system. I'll keep an eye out.

it only misses the track #8, 12, 21 from OST and the tracks encoded in 160 kbps. But I wont complain for it.

Some games have been ripped already, supersonic could update the list later.

SNES
Krusty Fun House -> SPC Rip
http://snesmusic.org/v2/profile.php?...&selected=1448

Dreamcast
Shenmue -> There is an ost release and Shenmue Passport Rip, is it safe to say this game has been ripped already?
Shenmue 2 -> http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/3860 XBOX, but I think it's still the same sound driver...

PS2
Gran Turismo 4 -> There are 3 Albums in GH, dont they cover all the game music?

Gran Turismo 4 Kicks (9 tracks)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/972
Gran Turismo 4 Original Game Soundtrack (22 Tracks)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/973
Gran Turismo 4 Original Soundtrack ~Classic Collection~ (15 Tracks)
http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/974

GBA
Game & Watch Gallery 4 -> has been ripped by caitsih at http://www.caitsith2.com/gsf/

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Look, I don't know how many times I have to say this. GT4 has already been ripped by DVDrick. The rip has 158 tracks and yes it covers all the music in the game. Those are all official releases, not gamerips and why you would put those up there along with the other rips is a clue to me. Now add all the tracks from the official releases and tell me if you can reach 158. I thought so.

Besides, GH is just about the most unreliable source of gamemusic, having that as a reference is just naive.

Someone posted a link to Krustys Super Funhouse on the snes. Are you sure thats the European Pal rip? Because some of the tracks are different on the Snes Pal version then on the Snes NSTC version.......

And am I the only one with the game cart of Adventures of Tom Sawyer on the nes? Surely someone else must have it! And have ripped it!

Oh and does anyone know of a rip for any of those Philips CDI games? Such as the two Zelda games, or Hotel Mario?

Yes, it covers the PAL version. The tracks that are different in the European version are there as (alternate) tracks. Hmm, I wonder if the Genesis PAL version has alternate songs too?

I wouldn't get your hopes up for Tom Sawyer unless someone wants to rip it via emulator or make an NFS rip. It's... not a very popular choice for collectors.

Done, got the arranged, the CPS II and the CPS I scores all wrapped up in one rip.

EDIT: Actually, come to think of it, I'm not sure if this is what you've been looking for. As far as I know, Hyper Street Fighter II was never released on the XBOX (according to mobygames.com). The game that I ripped is the Anniversary Edition, it only came out for the PS2.

Turns out the files for Go! Sudoku are in .at3 format, and I have them, but I can't figure out how to decode them. I've searched for players and decoders but have not found any that seem to work with these particular files. If anyone could lend some assistance I'd be willing to figure out all the tag information...

Thanks for the links. I just tried them, and no luck. It says the codecs are not installed or there was an error during decoding, and the codec is installed, although not the one you linked to, because it seems as if all links from that site are down.
