Coleco Handheld Sonic system

Seems like a lot of work just to play a Sonic game? Add a cartridge port and it would seem you would have a full-fledged handheld system...

All it needed was Phantasy Star, and would've been the greatest handheld ever crafted.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I think the games Infernal Monkey boldfaced already make it the greatest handheld ever crafted. Including Phantasy Star would just cause the universe to explode.

Also, holy crap online snail maze is awesome <333333

The fact it was on the GBA makes that the greatest handheld ever.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Yeah, that's a silly one to exclude. They've left out quite a few of the Master System's gems though. Dragon Crystal, Enduro Racer, Zillion, Space Harrier, Wonderboy / In Monster Land..

TEDDY BOY

Like, why are two Columns games included? Super Columns did shit all. Global Defence is an awful game, 8-Bit Altered Beast is like having Gak poured up your nose and Aztec Adventure will likely put many to sleep. You can tell when I'm bored when I make outraged posts over video games. =)

I liked the music~, but the Game Gear's inability to keep up with the game was kinda 'eh'.

The design is pretty cool and shiny and really has that Sega look. Bit expensive though, plus it requires 3x AAA batteries... Does it really need that much power for a handful of pixelated games?

What the hell? Coleco is still around?! That doesn't make sense, I thought they had died along with the 'SEARS Entertainment System' era.

My thoughts exactly, but this is what Wikipedia says:

"In 2005, River West Brands, a Chicago-based brand revitalization company, re-introduced Coleco ( www.coleco.com ) and Coleco Vision into the marketplace. In late 2006, this new company introduced the Coleco Sonic, a Coleco-branded handheld containing 20 Sega 8-bit Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear titles."

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
